Being quite fussy about sound quality, but wanting my cake and eating it as I'm usually on a low budget, I did a fair bit of research before opting for the XSound Go. Tribit are causing quite a stir in the marketplace with their high quality, low end budget kit and so I thought I'd go for it. Especially for £30!SO glad I did. Really well made speaker, with useful and easy to manage controls, looks pretty good, decent Bluetooth range and great battery life.AND THEN THERE'S THE SOUND. It just sounds incredible - punchy bass, clear mids and crisp top ends - even at volume (and they do go pretty loud - not silly loud but can e.g. cover a sizeable garden). I am still gobsmacked that they can put these out on the market for this price and they sound better than my Google Nest Mini 2's (yes - that's the version that Google actually put a speaker in remotely worth listening to) and would give my Denon bookshelves a run for their money if I had 2 of these together. I would not hesitate to recommend this speaker - in fact my mates are getting quite bored of me evangelising about the thing.So - cake got AND eaten. B¬]

I knew another purchase of Tribit speakers would not disappoint and they certainly didn't.I had the previous version of this speaker which served me well in the office and when I saw these had been upgraded with added True Stereo Pairing and USB Type C fast charging I just had to but a pair for my set up at home.The sound from these is fantastic and they are positioned on my desk perfectly to enjoy superbly separated left and right channel sound - Great for music and adds a new dimension to watching films on my mac.Good bass, detailed vocals, the louder you turn it up the better it gets. Although to keep the rest of the household happy I need to keep them on low volume as no one else appreciates my musical tastes :)Once paired up they will remember and automatically pair the next time they are both switched on. Switch one of them off and they both switch off. Bluetooth connection is flawless from both mac desktop / macbook pro and my Sony Xperia I phone and Samsung tablet.I absolutely love these - I have always loved these. Just get. For the price these are the best you can get at this price point. They are a top quality build and a fantastic size. Soft feel rubberised coating with meta grill and they have some weight to them too.Just as a reference point I am no Audiophile but I like the best in affordable sound quality and own both Sony Sony Wh-1000XM3 over ear headphones and Sony WF-1000XM3 Wireless Earbuds. I am happy to have these speakers to complement my audio collection.You can also play with the sound with an app called Bass Boost available from the play store to tweak the sound to your own preference. The app has always worked brilliantly for me although I do like the standard Tribit settings and they complement many styles of music.I have them set up under my Mac and once charged they will last for ages without neededing to be recharged. or you could simply keep them plugged in so they will always be fully charged for when you want to take them out and about.TBF I knew what I was getting and has absolutely no hesitation in getting two. Now you should do the same and scroll up / add two into your basket and checkout.Can't wait to see what Tribit come out with next - I am a big fan.

Before I start this review I should say that I am a hi-fi snob. This means I am really picky when it comes to choosing anything that reproduces music.You can read all the reviews you like about bluetooth speakers but what counts is your own ears, we are all different and hear things in different ways.I have a broad range of radios, amps, speakers, turntables you name it, so I have my own bench mark. This little speaker is really very good for no money at all. Build quality is really solid, lovely design, connects simply, very good distance range and belts out music. Ok, it does not go very loud but it is what it is. Some bluetooth gear can sound mushy and overwhelmed, this is perfectly acceptable at the price.For me it does the one thing that matters over anything else, it can sound musical. By this I mean I can sit and listen to the music not the speaker, engaged.And at this price that is remarkable, I own and have listened to many bluetooth speakers, this one is a bargain. It can’t compete with a Ruark or Tivoli or AudioPro, but all that higher end gear is many times more expensive and frankly less practical. I can pick up this little speaker use it in the garage, on the patio, anywhere and not worry about it. Oh yeah and one more thing…this is my second unit. When I got the first one I was a bit disappointed with the sound, a bit odd. I contacted the manufacturer directly. I have rarely come across customer service as slick and friendly as this. They bent over backwards to help, communication was fast and I kid you not a replacement arrived the next day from the Amazon warehouse.The two units are like chalk and cheese, the replacement is so so much better, just everything sounds right. So big up to the seller and good luck to them, I will be saving up the pennies to buy and play with more of their products.
