When watching movies, it's like being in the movie theater and looking at a huge screen. But the biggest issue with this is that if you move your head the screen moves as well. This pretty much eliminated the "AR" claims of this thing. Basically this projects a large screen in front of you. The resolution is great. Brightness and sound are adjustable. However the volume doesn't really go up very high. With any background noise, you will need to use your earbuds. The docking unit is okay, but if you can go directly to your phone, you definitely don't need it. The streaming apps on the docking unit are limited. You can't access Netflix or Sling. I'm sure probably many more. The one thing that I like using it for is to give me a monitor when I use my phone making videos, and attached to me chest or head. This is one of those things that you buy but it puts a bad taste in your mouth. Asking yourself did I really need this at $400? It would be a great item and a great value at $200.

I use these as a portable/wearable display, and they work very well. They offer very high-quality picture and sound for movies and YouTube or gaming. The Rokid Station offers Google PlayStore compatibility and you can download Android apps and play games without the need for side-loading anything like the XReal or other brands that are not PlayStore compatible. Text is very easy to read on the display and in fact much more comfortable to view web pages or movies/videos on these than a laptop, tablet or phone as you don't have to look down with your neck in bent position. 3D movies are also a real plus as the 3D effects are very nice when you watch any 3D movies or videos. The battery on the Station lasts about 4 hours or so, but you can use these with your Android phone, tablet (as long as they support video out through displayport) or iPhone (requires the adapter for pre iPhone 15 models) and iPhone 15 and above with displayport without the need to use any adapter.

I had issues getting it set up and then almost a day of perfect viewing. Now I can't even get it to turn on for over 10 hours. So frustrating when it worked great for a day. Would love to keep enjoying.*edit: they have offered me a refund and I may use it to eventually buy another set because that day that they worked was great. I watched shows on crunchyroll and hooked up to my Switch to play Zelda Tears of the Kingdom abs it was brought and crisp and fun. Maybe I got a faulty set. With the quick response, I may give them another try. I'll change my rating once it is all settled. Even good customer service deserves more stars.
