This product is moisturizing, and not sticky. The color goes on great and doesn’t look super shiny or glossy.

Enticed by the description of high quality natural ingredients and beetroot coloring, I had high hopes for this lip oil. I had been looking forward to a nice, skin softening oil for winter-chapped lips. What I ended up with was a new sweater destroyed and an unholy mess on my hands and face--it seems that the actual manufacture of this product was flawed from the start, and here, briefly, is why:From my first time opening the container and pulling out the doe foot applicator, and on successive reapplications of product--which were frequent, because as soon as it was applied, I lost the feeling of anything moisturizing-- or really anything at all on my lips--unknown to me, each time resulted in another giant splotch of beetroot staining oil down the front of my sweater, which is now soaking in oxygenated stain remover, but looks like it's completely trashed. This is because the formula of the oil is very thin. Imagine the lightest, thinnest baby oil you can, then imagine what a dripping, oily-sticky mess it would make, of your fingers, your clothing, the upholstery of the chair you are sitting in and the carpets under the chair. It just drips right off the applicator into your lap! That's not even the worst of it. I didn't think I was old enough to have fine lines around my lips. I was wrong--this product went out of its way to find and define them, as well as showing up darker on chapped areas of the lips (instead of smoothing or hydrating them). The way this product just bleeds right off onto the skin surrounding your lips is a joke--I ended up looking like a clown!Gee, thanks, "Botanie Hearth," for making a clearly untested, unusable product and ruining my expensive outfit, staining my face, chin, and everything in my immediate vicinity! At least it smells ok, right?The idiot(s) who created this disaster should rightly pay for their mistakes made mine, from the custom dry cleaning and stain removal to the scrubbing facial needed to get it off my skin.

I like the lip oil and feel like it hydrates well. I’m a teacher so I talk all day long. The problem is the lid broke so I can’t carry it with me anywhere. I’m past the return window or I would have returned it. Not sure what to do with it????

Reviewing Botanic Hearth Tinted Lip Oil It’s winter, or just about, which means it’s time to break out the lip moisturizer. I try to stay paraben free when I can, so this product caught my eye.The color is very transparent, and when you first apply it, it looks blotchy. You need to blend/rub it into your lips to apply the color evenly. Once you do, the color is nice, faint and glossy.Unfortunately, the oil makes it hard to deal with. It’s like dipping a wand into olive oil and then pulling it out, dripping everywhere. Mine arrived with a cracked lid. The lid still screws on & it’s only a small crack, but the consistency is such that even with it being a small crack, it’s enough for the product to leak out when I turn the bottle sideways. If I want to carry this with me, I need to put it in a plastic bag to prevent it from leaking inside my purse.That said, it is a quality lip balm that moisturizes well. My lips feel silky smooth with this lip gloss applied, but it only lasts for about ½ hour. If they could find a way to make it a little bit thicker & last longer, it would be perfect. I’m giving three stars because the issues with it are hard to overcome.

First the bad. It is an oil and it is not thick. For some reason, it makes a mess when I take the applicator out of the bottle and the tint drips down. (See picture.) It has done this every time I opened it.The great is the color, taste and how it moisturized my lips. This beetroot-red is my color. It is a lovely deep rich maroon color. The tint oil applies easily and soaks in quickly, moisturizing and plumping the lips. My lips are not oily or sticky at all, just soft and silky. They are not glossy but slightly shiny. Taste is pleasant, maybe an almomd oil taste. I really think this product gives great results and I love the way my lips look and feel after using it.

What is sleep well works it doesn’t have a weird smell or anything I feel like it smells like vanilla. It gave my lips kind of like a little boost. it gave me just a little tent. I would say it looked very cute. It’s more of a light pink color, but your lips just look natural. It gives it a little plumpness in my opinion.
