Broken seal
One of the jars in my two pack came out of the box with a broken seal, which leaked out into the packaging. The other was fine.

Best hot chili sauce on the planet!
This is by far my favorite hot chili sauce, so sad when they stopped selling it for a while! Glad they are back! Now come back to my local stores!!!

THE Good stuff!
Two of my favorite "condiments" when cooking Chinese and other cooking requiring chili paste. Very flavorful with a medium level heat that comes on a bit slow and a nice sweetness in both varieties. Love this stuff and it is a staple in my kitchen. Much better price than buying the little jars at the grocery store.

I ordered this set of two because I wanted both of them and it was a good deal. However, the chili garlic sauce came clearly opened, probably because the seal failed. Since I have no idea how long it was open or what conditions it was stored under, this made it unsafe to use. This is a shame, but not necessarily a huge deal, except that I cannot even exchange the product. Which means I paid $21.99 for one 18 oz bottle of Sambal Oelek. Ridiculous. I would recommend both of these products, but definitely buy from a different vendor.
