So far it works well. No complaints. I'd order it again if needed it.

Mixed 3:1 a bit thick for brushing, thinned a bit and brushed on after spritzing with H20. Dried hard by day 5. Rutland suggested 4:1 to me for parge coat but that came out like heavy mortar ( which I did use to fill in a few missing chunks of lid firebrick.) Sands down with some effort, makes a mess but vacs up well. Saw someone parging using thinned mix and sponge. Rutland said do not do that, too weak if thinned to sponge on consistency. They also said this was the correct product.

This was amazing. I did a patch on my parents fireplace. Once you mix it, you have 1 hour to complete the job and it was plenty of time. I had a ton left over. I patched all the fracture cracks and a sizable crack at the bottom. It held. I did this 5 months ago! Great product!!! I followed the directions, which were pretty simple. Set a timer and went to work.

Works great, got the job done and all season has no issues. Holds up well.

The mortar was easy to mix, & also easy to spread. After building a fire, the floor of the fireplace still looked good.

This is mortar so no rocks, works great and is very strong. I patched cracks and holes in my kiln and this product is the best
