Not sure why Zippo hasn;t started incorporating this feature into their lighters straight from the factory! Great insert! The fit, finish and quality are awesome. Very simple, easy installation in seconds. No issues at all. Pack included spare gaskets, as well. Shipping was super quick as well. I’m hoping this will help my lighter fluid last a bit longer. It already makes filling the lighter easier and less messy with the small trap door on the bottom. Awesome little addition to make a fantastic lighter even better!!

These are so good, I ordered 3 more. I love the weight they add to the lighter, gives it more heft and I like ho it changes the tone of the Zippo "Click" makes it more of a thonk. I haven't noticed any longer lasting fluid, but I'm a chain smoker, so that's probably not going to make that much of a deference. That said also like the holder for extra flint next to the fill hole. If you are a zippo fan, this is the addition you are looking for.

I'm pretty impressed by this little accessory. For the last two years I've had a piece of Ziploc bag stuffed in the bottom of my Zippo. I never tried the plastic version of this product because I couldn't see how it would work better than my Ziploc. When I found this metal version I decided to give it a try and so far it seems really good. The metal is surprisingly heavy. After installing it, my Zippo is noticeably bottom-heavy, which I like.I would suggest that anyone considering this product should probably stick with the silver color. There's no telling how the colored anodization will react to long term exposure to naphtha, which is a strong solvent. You can't see it anyway.Note that no product like this will ever prevent your Zippo from evaporating. Most of the naphtha is going to exit from the top.The only criticism I have is that the pin holding the hinge mechanism in place can fall out.

These absolutely extend the amount of time between refills. I've gone up to two weeks without running out of fuel. And there is a nice little groove to stow an extra flint under the cap, which is super useful. Worth it for anyone using a Zippo regularly

THIS IS NOT A "VINE FREE" REVIEW!!!No measurable difference in evaporation, and I have no idea why the fill cover is 'sunk in'. Still has leakage even when NOT from a "fresh refill". It does make the lighter "APPEAR" better asthetically instead of a felt wad to pull up to fill or dig a spare flint from. If you want "looks" then this is ok, if you want function to stop leakage then this won't work for that. IF YOUR INSERT IS BENT IN ANY WAY, THIS WILL NOT FIX THAT (IT CAN'T FIX A DAMAGED INSERT!) THIS ONE IS IN A BRAND NEW LIGHTER! (ZIPPO)

Fits perfectly in my zippo and is sealing just fine to me. This is my first time using one so I'll let you guys know in the future how it worked out. I've been using these lighters for a good 30 years now I already notice the difference in the flame alone is much fuller for some reason. Very nice upgrade. As for the extra orings it comes with I don't see the use for it. By the time these go bad how will I remember where I put the set at? Lol for the price I'll just order me another one.

It’s cool and all it’s metal works better then plastic ones but it’s not a tight fit wish it had it. So I’m giving it a 3 star for being metal that’s it. I have plastic ones and they fit perfect.

This is a must for zippo lighter owners. You retain the fluid for a long time and use it as you need. Totally endorse this product. It's well made an will last a long time. You can store a spare flint in it too. Genius!
