It’s the best scoop ! Made of metal not plastic!!
Don’t hesitate!!!! I am so impressed by this scoop. As silly as it sounds!!! I was using a regular teaspoon scooping what I thought was the 12g. This scoop will make sure I have the correct amount… and impressed that it is made of metal and not plastic! Very happy with this!

As The Tick would say, "SPOON!"
So yeah, I'm reviewing a roughly tablespoon-sized measuring scoop. Let's get to it.I'm not much for drinking anything Green that isn't a soda, so can't really speak to anything about superfoods. But I do make bread using a recipe I came up with to roughly emulate a popular, but expensive, white bread done correctly (ehem). This means it has about five more types of flour than any bread really needs, plus a couple of other healthy modifiers, so there's a lot of measuring from several small bags of flour just to make a loaf.Turns out this spoon works pretty well for that, better than some others I've tried. It's not magnetic, so not steel, which may not matter one way or the other. But has just a bit of heft to it that feels good. I'm not sure whether the Green coating is paint or powder coat, but it hasn't chipped on me yet when tossed in with silverware in my bar sink.Size wise it appears to be about a tablespoon, which works fairly well for the several small 10g to 15g measures I need in my flour mix. I do have to use it twice from some of the 20g measures, but that's no different that my regular measuring spoons. The coating, whatever it is, is nice for this task because none of the flours I measure seem to stick to it. There's a fine film of flour after dumping, of course, but the full spoon's worth empties out easily and I haven't yet had to use a finger or smack it on the side of the bowl to get it to empty. So, yeah, it works great for my needs. The best thing about it for me is just having an extra spoon that I can now keep dedicate to my flour-measuring needs, while my full set of spoons stay as full set, in their usual spot, so I don't have to figure out where in the heck I put that one spoon every time I need it for something else. It's a decent price for a decent measuring spoon. If you don't need a full set of 'em in a bunch of sizes, this is easy to recommend.

This is a fantastic item, but *hand wash only* it says
OK, so I gave this five stars because it’s packaged well and I’m very impressed by the quality of this item. It’s heavy it’s well-made and the price is excellent. However, I considered giving this four stars because when it arrived, there is a note on it that I don’t believe is present on the product page that says you can only hand wash this. That is not good. I am happy to have this item and I will use it, but I can tell you right now that it’s going in the dishwasher. Perhaps I’m wrong, but I don’t think that anyone is going to hand wash their scoops, and this company needs to wrap their mind around that. So, in that respect, I think that this is a miss. Again, this feels much better than the plastic scoops and I am looking forward to using it and the price is extremely reasonable, but if you want to scoop that you can put in the dishwasher, this isn’t it. I will come back and update my review if the dishwashing kills this item too quickly. It’s a shame, because in all other respects, this is a great item. It gets five stars because the company obviously intends this to be hand wash and in that respect, it functions as intended. Anyway, I hope that this review is helpful to everyone!

Listing just says it’s made of “Metal” and does NOT go into the dishwasher
The listing states that the capacity is 1 ounce. That is wrong. This spoon holds 1 tablespoon, which is ½ fluid ounce. The dry capacity of the spoon depends on what is being measured. 1 tablespoon of liquid mercury weighs more than 1 T of flour. Product listing says this scoop is made of “Material Metal”. That’s vague enough! The box it comes in says made of stainless steel and it DOES have the heft of stainless. But, as a magnate will not stick to this, that claim is false. I’m suspicious that this has to be hand washed instead of the dishwasher. I’m wondering if the green paint will peel off if soaked in dishwater or any length of time. If that DOES happen, AND it isn’t stainless, that means it will rust. Time will tell if it holds up to multiple soakings in the dishpan. All that said, it IS ONLY $4, so if you like green, go for it. I only gave it 3 stars because of all the questions I have about the listing.

Working Great for My Purpose
I ordered this AG1 Metal Measuring Scoop, GreenAG1 Metal Measuring Scoop, Green to use when transferring photographic chemicals.I'm always making various solutions to use for alternative process photography, and I'm always concerned that the measuring spoons I use will find their way into my kitchen. I ordered this one because 1) it is made of metal, and 2) it is green and unlikely to get mixed up with my kitchen utensils. The finish on this measuring spoon is very smooth. I can't tell if it is paint or some sort of anodized finish. The spoon is made of a decent gauge metal and does not bend or flex. The directions call for hand washing, but I would never put my photo chemical utensils into the dishwasher anyway. I had no trouble getting the spoon squeaky clean with soap and warm water after using it to transfer a sticky gelatin-based emulsion.
