Yes, although I have not done it myself. It has a programmable controller that can handle any ramp and soak schedules required to do metal clay.

Can this be used to burnout out wax in the dental laboratory to cast for crowns and bridges?

This model cannot be used for wax/resin burnouts. TableTop Furance Company now offers a specific kiln for this process. You will need to use the Hi-Temp Burnout models which are available here on Amazon with either a Programmable or Standard PID controller. Thank you!
