A good tool with pathetic dealer network.
I Bought it for ₹5k from Amazon a few months ago. For that price, this is a very decent die grinder from a reputed manufacturer like Makita. The first thing you are going to notice when you switch on this grinder is its exceptionally smooth motor. I have used Bosch GGS 3000 before. This one is much smoother than the Bosch. In fact, it is less nosier and smoother than my Dremel 4000. With 400w, it is fairly powerful too. Bosch GGS 3000 which costs more than 6k has only 300w.Overall build quality is good. It weights 1.9kg including the power cable. The power cable is 2.5m long. It does not have a variable speed option. The black boot on the neck of the grinder is made of rubber and is removable. The tool comes in a corrugated box along with two wrenches, a 6mm collet and a collet nut.The only problem was the pathetic dealer network of Makita India. The dealers of Makita in Bangalore are nothing short of thugs. I am not sure about the other cities. So, if you are buying their tools online, warranty is always a concern. For the same tool a dealer in Bangalore asked me ₹7500.

The package was opened by the supplier
When I opened the envelope, I found the tool in open condition along with 2 wrench. The packaging box was cut into 3 pieces and was kept inside envelope and its of no use now. Also the collet is 6 mm. Should include 3mm collet size too.
