I am not aware of any difference. Having bought this perfume several times from Amazon the perfume and quantity are the same.

EDP = Eau de perfume. The fragrance lasts longer than eau de toilette

Yes it's a spray bottle. Actually the perfume has grown on me, wasn't so keen at first. Hope that helps.

Being eau de parfum does this mean it is "toilet water" and not just neat perfume?

Eau de parfum is the strongest of the three concentrations of perfume available. Starting from the weakest, these are eau de cologne, then eau de toilette, then finally eau de parfum. The liquids used to dilute perfume oil are basically water and alcohol. This Arpege eau de parfum is quite strong and has a lasting fragrance. As with most fragrances, the smell straight from the bottle is not the finished product: let it sit on your skin for a few minutes and the lovely smell will develop. This is a classic fragrance, similar to Chanel No. 5. I hope this helps.
