Sticks to anything
Got these put up in my bunny area as I store my bin bags on a table until bin day and didn't want to use a spray but there were a couple of annoying flies and the spiders could only do so much.Within 5 minutes of putting two up there were half a dozen flies stuck to them. I hadn't even realised there were that many flies around. They've been up a few days and have caught a fair few flies each, and there are none around the bins or the bunnies.Only problem I had was when moving a ladder to fix a light I forgot one was nearby and bumped it, it stuck to the ladder and pulled out of the roof so I carefully removed it, climbed up to put it back, but with it being wound out it was incredibly hard and ended up stuck to my hand, sleeve and hair (thankfully a non fly covered part) and not pinning back into the wooden roof. With some patience and a new drawing pin, it's back up now, but wow, it's really sticky stuff. Great value and will last a while out there till I get a proper fly zapper in the summer.

Not the Most Convenient, but Effective
The product is not very convenient to use, as you need to find a suitable place to hang it. I ended up hanging it from a light fixture. It’s very sticky, which makes it tricky to handle without accidentally touching it. However, it does catch a lot of bugs, so it’s effective for its purpose.

Non effective
I had a sudden fly infestation so I got these. Well the fly's certainly didn't like them. Put up in 3 rooms to catch the little B..gers, they just flew around them, I actually thought I heard them laughing.The rooms certainly had quite a lot of them flying in through the open doors & windows. But only 2 were actually daft enough to land on the strips. The loops on the strips could be larger, there was no sent detectable at all. When opened the strip came out to quite a good length & was sticky. Would I but them again...NO WAY, I might try another brand though. In my opinion. Don't waste money on these!!!!

Attic Fly Problem? Buy!!!
We moved to the countryside, and Attic flies are an issue.I tried lots of other things, but none worked. I bought these and some Citronella and its become easy to maintain. Here is what i did.1) decant citronella oil into various open jars and place around the attic.2) put these around the attic. I found near the top was good as they the flies were mainly there. Place them close so the flies have little movement.3) hover any dormant/dead flies up. They may look dead but they are just sleeping.The oil sent the flies crazy, they get stuck in these traps and can't get out, hover up any cleaver flying ones or ones not moving.So far this is going well. I go up every now and the with a tennis zapper and take out the odd one i find.

Dangerous Don’t waste your money
Did not catch one fly and we opened all of them to try. I HURT MY FOOT BADLY THEY HAVE A BLACK CIRCLE YOU HAVE TO PULL OUT TO OPEN EACH ONE AND AS MY BOYFRIEND OPENED THE FIRST ONE WE DIDNT KNOW THAT CAME OUT ON THE FLOOR SO I STOOD ON IT AND HAD TO PULL THE WHOLE METAL THICK PIN PUT OF MY FOOT! it was covered in the sticky stuff that’s on the fly trap so was unhygienic and so painful blood covered our floor in the kitchen after we had to pull out. I recommend going to a doctor of it happenes to you because it’s a thick metal part WE ASSUMED IT WAS A THIN, so it wasn’t easy to treat or deal with at home especially if you live with children

Flies meet a sticky end
I don't like flies. Inherently I'm not a card-carrying member of the Flies fan club. Flies outside, doing their fly'y thing, fine by me. Come into my kitchen and you're going to meet Mr Teat Owl. Except said Owl is a bit rubbish at killing flies, but very good at smashing other stuff around the kitchen work surface.So I resorted to playing the long game. A series of sticky adornments hanging from the ceiling, calling to the little blighters like a Siren-esque temptress. Within minutes the first unfortunate fellow fell foul of my trap. More followed, oblivious to the dying screams of the rest of their micro-squadron. It transpired that the tape doesn't dry out, and keeps on doing its evil work until you walk into it and are smeared with the catch of previous days/weeks. You will stick to these papers just as effectively as any wingéd creature - ask me how I know...I also felt bad seeing them struggle for many hours as their life force slowly ebbed away, the Teat Owl was always a quicker despatcher of flies. Still, they came into MY kitchen and made maggots in MY bin!Note to the cautious, the drawing pins supplied are pretty much a single-use version. Once you need to move the fly-killing decoration they won't work a second time. Of course, you won't need them when you're removing it from your hair...{ask me how I know}

The OG fly catcher
I've been through plugin blue light zappers, spray...the whole works, and keep coming back to these. Yes they are ugly, but they are effective, and there's nothing more satisfying than taking them down after a week and seeing all the bugs on it.
