This Splitter Stopped Cable Modem Reboots
I will say that this spliter 'appear to stop' my Arris 6850 cable modem from rebooting. The reboot "was" occurring on a daily basis around 5:30 to 7:30 PM.I noted that when the old splitter was moved slightly, there was a 'stuttering' in the voice on the TV.Upon receipt of the new splitter and unscrewing the old splitter the 'stutter' evidenced itself. Upon install of the new splitter (over two week ago), there has NOT been a reboot or 'stutter' of any kind.I realize that application and a coherent explanation would help the above; however, the fact there is not rebooting of the cable modem and no 'interruptions' I have to hear about from others in the house are 'proof' enough. The old splitter was the splitter the cable company (Blue Ridge) installed 1 to 3 years ago. Throughout this period there would be 'strange stoppages' of service. Then about a month ago, the 'interruptions' became more numerous --- Then finally daily. I 'tolerated' that for about a week.I even looked at power settings in the cable modem. 'Tried' to interpret what 'experts' said on the web. One expert did suggest that the splitter 'could' be the issue. That seemed to be the path of least resistance (and the cheapest [considered getting a more powerful cable modem (looking at the Asus -- would have been about $300)].... So, $5.00+ seemed 'the way to go.'What can I say? -- The new splitter works. Is it coincidence? Possibly.Update (Now have the splitter installed for over a month). There have been no more 'strange' router reboots or 'other stoppages.'I say the splitter did do its job.

A good splitter.
Antronix is a good splitter, signal strength remains high after the split. I used it to split 3 TV's on one leg and a new cable modem on the other leg. After I was finished I called the CATV company (Cox) and asked them to read the signal. They said it was well above average. It's been in service for several weeks now, no issues. I'd buy another. Be sure to use good COAX and terminating ends. (I used Klein connectors)

Great splitter
Using as a combiner, running 2 ota antennas into a mast mounted preamp. Both antenna are exactly the same with the exact same length of coax cable. Went from about 40 channels to 102, of course a few are not great, about 85 percent get at least 80 out of 100 signal strength. I am in a rural environment, about 30 miles from one market and about 50 miles from the other market. I pointed both antennas at the 50 mile market. ( I didn’t get as good of reception with the antennas pointed in different directions) I’m running 3 tvs, hd home run and everything’s working great at this time. Very happy. Of course I can’t promise you will get the same results, but it works for me.

Combiner
Works great to combine two external antennas into one coax cable feeding into my house. Hopefully it lasts.

Best
Did much research on this cheap little item, just stop and buy this one. The others have issues, this was simply made the right way. The convincer for me was a recommendation from an installer. Always best to hear from an expert. The splitter works well, is mounted outside in cold weather and notice no loss in quality picture and 130 MBPS.

Sliding switch stopped working reliably
This product works as advertised, but after a few weeks of use the sliding switch doesn't work reliably. So - it worked as advertised, came on time, and in good condition - it just gave up reliability in a very short time.
