Clamped monitor stands are better than weighted ones
I have the VIVO dual monitor arm but I was just using the footplate that came with it and it was always getting in the way. It needed to be big to counter the weight of the two monitors, however, it took up quite a bit of room so I started looking for a solution. I found that VIVO made a desk camp and ordered it right away. As soon as I got it connected it was way more sturdy than the footplate and it takes up way less room as well because it uses the desk to hold the monitors instead of a weighted base. It's got padding on it to help protect the desk from scratches and it's easy to install. I also have the VIVO VESA adjustment bracket and it connects to that just like it would to the monitor itself which is great. It works great and I'm very happy.

Highly recommend.
I had an older model vivo dual monitor stand that required the user to make a hole on the desk or to have a desk with a pre-existing hole on the surface. This clamp works with the newer models if you ever broke your existing clamp but it also works with the older model as it brings a small circular attachment piece that makes it compatible. I couldn't recommend the Vivo stands any more than I already do. They are sturdy, heavy duty and look sleek on the edge of the desk. Highly recommend.

Best mount for a desktop
Very sturdy mount to use on a desktop for 4 monitors. This was a replacement base for a mount that came with the mount to go in a space where there is usually a grommet for wiring. This made the mount much more secure. Easily converted from the one mount to the new one.

BEWARE
This company told me that the product was interchangeable with the freestanding desk mount set up that I had purchased. I was told to purchase this clamp, and that as a result I would be able to switch is with the desk stand.Just to start I was not provided screws with this clamp. After battling with VIVO (I had to call and email), finally they were able to get me tracking for the screws. Then, I received them 5 DAYS LATER and they DO NOT FIT.I have attached photos so you can see the screws are CLEARLY different sizes. However the width of the screw needs to fit through the clamp, the black ones do NOT fit through the clamp but the silver DO. However the silver ones do fit through the clamp BUT not wide enough to fit snug into the desk pole.Horrible product knowledge by the staff at VIVO, and I would NOT recommend this or any other product from VIVO.

It’s right but missing hardware.
Pros:SturdyCorrect part for my standCons:Missing screws the attach it to the Vivo rod, you need to go to a hardware store to get them.Arrived dinged up and scratched with a busted up package.Over all the part works but they NEED to include all of the hardware. You’ll need M5-.80 x16 machine screws. You can get them here or like Lowe’s. Like $2 a pack of 8.

Doesn't come with screws
I change my desk setup like others change wardrobe. Needless to say, I've got a hodgepodge of Vivo monitor mount parts, but only had one clamp.Bottom line, they should send the screws or just tell you what size to buy. Instead, I looked up the manual for the full arm and found the list of included hardware and went from there. The clamp itself is great, which is why I've stuck with Vivo parts.Screw details: the manual calls for 3 M5x15 countersunk screws. M5 = 5mm. You want a flathead machine screw that is 5mm by 12 or 16mm; I didn't find 14mm in any local hardware store.

SPACE SAVER
So much more room for activities!I had the wide base for the monitor stand originally but it was obnoxious. I would end up placing things on top of it and stack things messily. Blah blah. Then I found this vice style mount and thought I’d give it a try. Not only does it save so much space, but it is also WAY more sturdy than the original base. I don’t know why the company sells the wide base with the monitor stand... buy this version and you won’t be disappointed.

Great!
I had the tall Vivo dual monitor pole, but I guess I threw away the original clamp that came with it and I didn't want to drill a hole into my brand new desk. This worked perfectly and came with all the necessary screws. I did have to use the adapter for the pole, but it worked out fine.
