Euro Ceramica Blue Garden 16 Piece Oven Safe Hand Painted Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Service for 4, Bold Vase Design/Floral Pattern, White and blue

I purchased a set of 20. Yes 20 to replace a previous set being passed down to my nephew. The pieces are well packed and well made and I collect stoneware and have many pieces. Typically prefer not made in China, but sooooo expensive for a full set of every day dining. 4 cups were destroyed in shipping. NOT the manufacturer's fault as 4 other boxes were impeccable. One plate has imperfections that needed to be replaced. All stoneware has imperfections and many of the pieces do and it's pretty odd their character. But one plate didn't cure properly and the back is significantly discolored as if it soaked in fabric softener before curing and has divots. It's the divots that indicate this piece will not last. I inspected all the pieces and only one out of 100 pieces is suspect. The rest of the set is wonderful. There are always many imperfections as expected in stoneware. I'm looking forward to many many years of this pattern. The coffee cups are perfectly sized which is difficult to find. Take a little more space in the cupboard, and well worth it! Those little bowl cups or tea cups won't work for us. The plates and bowls are stacking nicely. Not all patterns will. The weight is excellent. I can carry a stack of plates without multiple trips and sturdy enough to last. The set is beautiful enough for daily or event dining and I do both, so yeah! I have more than 20 family over on Sundays weekly and this week be my new go to. Excited! The color is outstanding. For you who complain about cracking, here is a tip. Stoneware can typically handle many temperatures AS LONG AS YOU GET THERE SLOWLY and I confirmed this set is safe to 400 degrees. If you are putting stoneware in the dishwasher, you don't need the extra heated washing and drying. It's not good for stoneware. Most is oven safe if you start with a cool oven. Most can go in a freezer. Yeah I'm radical like that. Cracks and fissures are typically from rapid temperature changes. I learned the hard way, so be careful. I got through to service and replacement pieces will arrive before Thanksgiving! And they DO HAVE SERVING PIECES! There is a full set of additional pieces to compliment this set direct from manufacturing. Lemme tell you. As a previous Temptations by Tara raving fan, I was disappointed to find out I can't replace broken dinnerware. This is a signature set and will remain in production. If you are looking for blue and white, which I was, this is an outstanding set for daily use. I will be obtaining as many complimentary pieces as possible and plan for this to become an heirloom set for one of my daughters.

I am thoroughly impressed and in love with this set. Brilliant cobalt blue color. Not one chip or broken piece upon arrival. They were practically triple boxed. These dishes are on the heavier side. They feel great, very hardy and thick like they will last a long time. But not too heavy individually. The hand painted details are slightly different on each plate and I find that incredibly charming. I love the shape of the plates. It was hard to tell by the pictures online but they have a very slight indentation around the edge of the large plate which is very stylish and nice to grip. I also love the slight raised design on the outer edge of the dishes where the white meets the blue border. It’s a little hard to explain but I tried to video and picture it as best as I can. Reasons I chose this set over another: -Little to no complaints about chipping or damage right out of the box. -Mug shape and size are perfect. Comfortable to hold with a generous amount of room for beverages, ice cream or anything (I didn’t like the dainty mugs I was seeing with the very wide openings, small size, and weak handles in other dish sets). -Bowls are a nice big size for cereals and soups, sturdy with such a cute flower design. Love that it has an outer brim to it. That makes it more comfortable to hold and less mess prone. -They are absolutely gorgeous. Pictures just can’t do it justice. Overall I am impressed with the quality, weight, design, color and contours of each piece in this set. I could not be happier (unless I get a second set)! Happy Shopping!

I received my dishes yesterday and couldn't wait to open the box. I love them!!! Wow! I can't believe how gorgeous they look. I am so thrilled. I wish they made more accessories to go with the place settings. I saw the platter but wish there was more available on Amazon. I am a happy customer!!! I would love if they provided the saucers and plates separately as well to add more without getting another full set.

I will recommend Euro Ceramica Blue Garden 16-piece, the blue color is rich, the motifs are made by hand, and well done.

I’ve had my set for just over a year now so figured I’d write a review. First of all they really do look great. The blue is nice and bold without being too bright and contrasts well with the nice bright white. If you like the “French Country” or “Chinoiserie” style as much as I do or maybe even the “Farmhouse” or “Cottage” styles you might just love this set. I’ve used my set ever single day for a year and they still look just as good as they do the day I bought them. On the front, that is. But not on the back, where a couple of them have gotten scorched from accidentally setting them on the burner of a glass-topped stove. Those scorch marks won’t come off. My fault, and I’m not saying that means the quality is poor, but that doesn’t seem ideal to me. Maybe I’m wrong. But there was a minor quality control issue: at least one of these came a little bit warped — you don’t notice it when it’s sitting on a table but you can easily see it when you stack them all on top of each other. For $100 or so a set, not a single one of them should be warped if you ask me. But I decided that wasn’t a big deal because the looked so good. I hand-wash all of my dishes and use your basic store-bought sponges with one rough side and one soft side to clean them, so I can’t comment on how well they do or don’t last if put in the dishwasher. Overall, I’ve been very happy with my set even though the quality control should be a little bit better. I’d give them 4.5 out of 5 stars if that were an option...

Works perfectly with the space. There is a blue countertop in the kitchenette, so I didnt want to fight the aesthetic. Plates and bowls hold a good portion. perfect for just 2 people.

I have had this dinner set for 5 years and the very minimal damage that it has sustained has been purely due to user error. We use the plates and mugs every day and they do just fine in the dishwasher. The color is just as bright as it was when we first got them. The only thing we're missing is one mug, which isn't bad for a stoneware set that's been heavily used for such a long time and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I would definitely buy it again to replace any other pieces that might become casualties of time.
