Works, but don't expect to be able to extend it.
It worked when plugged directly into the camera, but when I spliced ~40-50 feet of wire in the middle of it, the BRC-300 didn't power on properly. Ended up splicing in another power supply of similar voltage and higher amperage and it worked fine.The supply we received was rated for 11-13 volts and 1-3 amps. The range makes me suspicious of the quality of the power supply...We have a genuine Sony power supply for our camera that's further than the one this supply was for, and it works great.
