GRACE KARIN Vintage Sleeveless A-Line Party Dress with Belt

This dress is very pretty and I will be wearing it to my next wedding or special event. The material has a little bit of a stretch to it however, if you are blessed with a large bust area I can see how this dress might not fit. Also, the material seems to wrinkle easily and for those of you who are into low maintenance like I am, be warned that this dress is supposed to be dry cleaned. To be honest it feels a bit low quality (made in china), but for the price it's good enough.

I bought this as an Easter dress. I read the other reviews carefully and chose a size small. I am 5 ft 4, 122 lbs, and a 32B. It fit nicely. The dress hit right at my upper-mid knee. It was not tight across my bust, there was a touch of room, though not enough to look funny. I have narrow shoulders and this fit great. However, the waist hit about 3/4 of an inch above my natural waist and I am not particularly long-torsoed. With the belt it looked fine and not funny, but I wanted to point this out in case it matters to anyone. The fabric was nice and solid--not really see through even though there was a lot of white (though i did wear appropriate undergarments). And while yes, as others have noted, it's not particularly soft, this is a mostly cotton blend--think 100% cotton bed sheet not jersey. Washing and fabric softener might help. I got the red floral print and it was nice and bright -- there are yellow accents in it that didn't really show on my computer screen, though I'm fine with it. I wore a short crinoline with it and it puffed out nicely, though it didn't really need it at all. It just changed the look slightly. I do anticipate this being a bear to iron though.

I bought this dress to wear to a formal dinner party and I love it. I paired it for the event with Women Petticoat Skirt 50s Dress Tutu Half Slips (Small, 2-Pack) and Ollio Women's Shoe Platform Open Toe High Heel Ribbon Accent Multi Color Pump (10, Black). I was getting compliments all night.The dress fits great. I have a larger bust which makes some clothing difficult to wear because my top size doesn't necessarily match my waist / hips, but this dress actually had a little room to move around comfortably. There was no digging into my shoulders or armpits, but it still wasn't a boxy fit.The colors are as bright as they are in the product listing. The fabric is very comfortable and I didn't experience any itchiness or scratchiness. The dress comes with a skinny belt that I opted not to wear because they tend to cut my stomach in half in an unflattering way. The dress still looks great without it; I would be more likely to get a chunkier belt to accentuate the fit and flare.Without a petticoat, the dress has a much less dramatic flare than in the photos which is still flattering; I think it would be suitable for more dressy casual events. The petticoat gave the flare from the photos, but it does make the back of the dress ride up a little bit when sitting down; however, the side of the dress fully covered my lap and smoothed down over the side of my chair so I didn't have to worry about anything showing that I didn't want showing. Definitely be mindful to smooth it down in the back as you sit!Overall, I'm super pleased with this purchase. I will definitely come back for more colors in the future.

I cannot believe this beautiful dress was less than $30! The quality is of much higher priced brands. It's a perfect blend of poly/stretch that feels so comfortable and really works with your body to conceal flaws and create and hourglass. The cut is just right. I like my dresses longer for modesty and this one comes to mid-shin on me so it's perfect (I'm only 5 foot tall, so taller gals should expect it to be closer to the knee). I'm a size 12 and the large fits me like a glove and looks fabulous. The print is gorgeous, just like the picture and the fabric has just enough stretch to smooth out any body wrinkles in my midsection (so I don't notice my muffin top!) I felt beautiful and confident in this dress! The only flaw I could note is that the belt is skinnier than pictured. It wasn't enough to take off a star or anything though. It's still a nice velvety fabric and not cheaply made belt, just a little thinner than it looks in the photo. I love this dress so much I'm already planning to buy it in several more prints!

This dress is beautiful and great quality. The material is thick and and the print looks really nice. I haven’t washed it yet but it looks like it’ll hold up in a machine.I ordered the medium which is my usual size. It’s a bit smaller than other women’s mediums, it fits more like a juniors’ size medium I’d say. I have a smaller waist compared to my hips/thighs, and I’m not very busty; if you’re bigger up top, I’d size up from your regular size.The older I get, the less I like to wear low-cut and short outfits that I have to be ‘careful’ in. In a dress like this, you can bend over and walk around and not worry about people seeing your butt. I love how this dress is modest yet fun! I am 5’7” for reference.

Fits really cute! I'm 5'5" 1/2 and 32B, 26 waist and ordered a Small. I like the longer length because I don't want to worry about flashing anybody when I dance! Regarding the Frida Kahlo print I chose, it looks a little different in person, less cartoonish and more color variation within the background color instead of what it appeared to me in the pictures, a flat turquoise blue. But I grew to like it as it makes it look a little more expensive. I was surprised my husband even said it was "adorable!" The fabric is a little thick and stiff, but overall the quality and construction is great for the price (I think I paid $19.99)
