I planted about 25 seeds in an aero garden and about 20 came up. Some came up fast and took their time.These are very slow growing so plan a year before you get a good-sized plant. I did not stratify.

In my experience, mountain mint seeds need sun, not lamps, to germinate, and they take their sweet time, so don't give up on them. Just keep them in the sunlight (a little shelter is okay) and bottom water to keep them moist. They have an amazing flavor.

This product arrived in a sturdy plastic with zip-lock top packaging. Beautifully designed 'Antique theme'. I am excited about this seeds because its supposed to attract butterflies and bees. It is also on the endangered list. So I am more than happy to help the environment. The price is more than reasonable. I had ordered from them previously, had no trouble with their seeds.

I started these 4 weeks ago in a covered seed tray under a timed grow light in a climate controlled 70° room. The soil has been kept moist. At 70° you should be able to expect good germination in 7-14 days. Unless you bought these seeds. This is a first for me. I have never experienced zero germination when I didn't make a mistake. I have all sorts of mint and mint variety herbs but not mountain mint I guess. Apparently your God finds a barren seed tray beautiful.

Overall, many flower seeds I have purchased online have not sprouted, and unfortunately this was no exception.

Our group made seed bombs and planted them in the Shenandoah state park. Fun day.
