Same great taste! My Grandmother used to give me Geritol daily back in the 1960' s when I was a little girl. I've always been low on energy and anemic. I just assumed Geritol was gone as are so many great products of that era. My hair was it's longest as a child while consuming Geritol. So much so I remember my Grandmother's exact words! "When the hair dresser tells you that your hair is long, tell her not to say that" The hairdresser indeed said my hair was long and I told her that my Grandmother said not to say that! I need an iron supplement and I remembered Geritol. To my surprise it has the same taste I remember which I didn't even think possible. Not many products taste as they tastedin the 60's. Lots of reviewers don't like the flavor. To each his own. I LOVE the flavor because in my mind, that signifies the same great standard. As a child I was completely unaware of B vitamins. To know this supplement has B vitamins in addition to iron I couldn't be happier because my body needs all the help it can receive. I'm ecstatic and relieved to be able to consume this wonderful tonic once again. Looking forward to it being as beneficial for thisolder body as it was for my younger self. I have no idea what Geritol will do for my hair growth but it helped my hair to be it's longest and healthiest years ago. Hopefully Geritol will come to the rescue once again. I'm going to continue to purchase Geritol regardless simply because I'm anemic and vitamin b deficient. It tastes the same and I'm convinced it will work the same in this body due to giving me the nutrients my body needs

Old remedy that is reliable and effective for energy boost! No side effects!

I’m almost finished with my 1st bottle and here are my thoughts/results:The taste is very strong and can be hard to stomach for most. The reason for this is the brewers yeast that’s in this. When I first smelled it, it smelled stinky but familiar and when I saw brewers yeast on the label that’s when it clicked. I used to give my dogs brewers yeast supplements and that is the exact smell. I’ve learned to deal with this by pouring the 15ml into the measuring cap and adding water to the rest of it. I have 30 ml cups I use. Throw it back quickly and then vigorously rinse my mouth out with a cap of water twice. Then, I gargle and swish to finish removing all presence of the taste out my mouth. You can try brushing your teeth after to really get it out.Ok, so taste aside, I feel like my energy levels have definitely improved as I have problems with my b-12, vitamin d levels and iron. The end of this week will be 4 weeks for me. I can’t say anything about hair and nail growth, which prompted me to try it as it takes a long time for a supplement to work on that level, but I definitely feel different in a good way. My joints don’t ache as much and my mood has improved. Vitamin deficiency can play a role in mood and I noticed a difference. I don’t sleep any better, it seems like I can’t go to sleep like I want to. I’m staying up longer, starting this past week. I still take a vitamin d3 supplement in conjunction with this so I don’t know if this affected my energy as well.This is my first liquid vitamin and I think that made a huge difference in my absorption of the vitamins. I have problems with malabsorption due to digestive issues which caused my deficiencies. The liquid seemed to work better than the gummy and sublingual vitamins I take. I’m going to finish this bottle but due to the taste, I’m going to try the geritol pills and see if I have the same results. I don’t know what else I could mix this with to cover the smell/taste. Good value for your money, just wish it tasted betterSidenote: Brewers yeast can cause an increase in appetite, it does for me, so be mindful of the time of day you take it to avoid being hungry. I take it early in the evening so I’m asleep and don’t notice it. I rather wake up hungry than go to bed hungry.

I don’t understand the complaints about the taste! I enjoy it! It’s quite pleasant. I’m on my second bottle, and I’ve noticed that my nails are growing quick. I can’t really tell with my hair yet. I will update when I get on my fourth or fifth bottle. My overall energy levels are great. I cannot drink this stuff then lay down to take a nap.

I'm older and I remember my grandmother using Geritol. I'd been having trouble keeping my iron up and I really didn't want to have another pill to take, so I thought I would give Geritol a try. Geritol liquid also has B vitamins which I think is a bonus. I will point out, it's not sugar free, it has 7g of added sugars- 14%. To me, the taste reminds me of black licorice but the bottle says natural and artificial flavors. It comes with a dosing cup making it totally easy to take. I feel that due to the positive benefits, the price is totally worth it!

My daughter and I just started taking Geritol for I low iron/ferritin levels. Praying it makes a difference when we go back to the Dr. The taste is a little unbearable just take it with a glass of orange juice. I have noticed more energy within both of us. I will be purchasing again.
