Some years ago when I was strongly feeling a need to fast and pray yet did not know how to go about it, my pastor recommended GOD'S CHOSEN FAST by Arthur Wallace. I read it and found that every question I had about fasting was answered in this book. I followed his recommendations exactly, and the result was amazing. Since that time I have fasted a number of times and have read at least a dozen other leading books on fasting. GOD'S CHOSEN FAST is the very best I have read.

I love this book. I have ordered it several times and have given it away as gifts over the years. It arrived on time and in like new condition. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in fasting - it's a little reference book on biblical fasting from Genesis to Revelation.

Well researched. A factual type of book that is not necessarily enjoyable to read but very educational. More of a text book type read. Good research though.

Very thorough biblical and spiritual review of fasting. I wish there was a little more physiology. I have passed my copy on to someone considering fasting. I already knew I wanted to fast, I wanted to know more about how to do it safely.

This is a great book if you are interested in learning about many methods of fasting and how to make your spiritual experience one that draws you closer to God. I've used this book for many years and I needed a new copy.Great reference and I highly recommend!

Came promptly. Great guide to spiritual fasting.

Although this book was written about 30 years ago, it is so easy to read. There is probably no comparative book. I bought two copies to replace ones lent out and not returned

this is a good practical book on fasting and worth reading if anyone is considering a fast for breaking through difficulties

only part way through it so far - but finding it a very thought provoking and encouraging. Aspects I had nt considered previously.
