I am building a barn and have not had to hand drive a single nail. I am using saw mill lumber for board and batten siding and this nail gun has not faltered all summer through 3 boxes of nails (3600 per box). It has plenty of power to drive 2 1/4" nails into pressure treated and I trust the Metabo quality (along with the framing gun, roofing gun, and finish nailers from Metabo I already own). I checked prices at big box stores and Amazon had the best price and value for the money. It is light (compared to a framing nailer) and easy to operate while up on ladders and walk boards. This gun allows one man to nail up siding in 5 minutes what 3 men would take 15 to do hand nailing.

Nice to know that the quality did not change along with the name. This is the second of these that I have purchased, the first one in 2014 and still going strong. This nailer was purchased to supplement the first and I have no concerns about the first nailer dying anytime soon. In looking at the reviews, I did have some concerns about different brand nails, but I have had no issues with using, Metabo, Bostich or off-brand nails. It just cruises through anything I have fed it. The only change that I have made is that I use 3/8" fittings on all my nailers and it seems to help prevent jams and misfires. Definitely worth the money.

This is a very good and consistent nail gun. I used it to build a shop this summer and found so many other uses for it other than just the cement board siding. I ran a lot of nails through it and don't recall a single jam or mis-fed nail. I also dropped it a few times on the cement slab, and it proved itself to be very durable. Would hesitate to purchase again.

Works as expected, Item looked new out the box, as it was suppossed to.. Performed great on a 50ft wood fence. Did not skip a bit.. Only complain.. It doesnt come with a hanger. Its well needed, instead they send you some protection glasses.. I bought this at a slightly lower price than the big stores, so im happy and cant complain. I do recommend this gun. It replaced an older hitachi model that i couldnt repair, hopefully this one lasts a long time..

I am a sider by trade. I use my nailer daily and it performs as intended perfectly. Once in a while I get a nail jam, but I'm pretty sure it's the nails and not the gun. I go through several coils of nails a day and get maybe 1 jam every few days.
