Fast drive, good temps and price!
I bought this new SN750 NVMe drive to move my OS from a Crucial SSD. This drive is noticeably faster. Installation was easy, but I did have trouble cloning my OS to this drive without corruption errors. I ended up backing up my pertinent files and fresh installing windows. Since the motherboard or CPU didn't change, Windows recognized my computer and I did not need to repurchase the OS. That being said and really at no fault to the drive, everything else has gone smoothly. PROS: - The drive is fast: The box says read/writes up to 3400MB/s sequentially. However I've found mine, without any cache enhancements, to be about 2900MB/s. Still very fast. With RAM caching of 4GB (which is what I typically use), read/writes came in about 8000MB/s. See the attached benchmark images for no enhancement runs and with enhancement runs. For reference, with caching my Crucial SSD where the OS used to be would average about 800MB/s. - Temps are solid: My motherboard included a m.2 heatsink which I am using for this. The m.2 slot on my board for the NVMe primary slot is right under the graphics card. So, when that starts putting out some heat, this thing will heat up a little as well. Even with that temperatures are in very respectable ranges. After running my benchmarks for the drive, the average was 41C and hottest was 44C, as seen in the image. After a gaming session, the peak temperature I've seen for the drive was 55C, but typically stays under 48C. - Price: The prices for 3D NAND drives have been coming down and probably will continue to do so. Last year at this time, a 500GB drive was about $250. I picked this one up for $120. These will probably come down some more from there. All good news for us consumers. CONS: My only con would be the issues I had with cloning the drive, most of which are not really related to this drive, but more related to the cloning software and my OS. My final thoughts on this are: this drive performs very close to the Samsung 970 Plus drive. They are also about the same price. The Samsung and this are about the fastest drives you can buy at this price-point and are essentially interchangeable. The SN750 is vastly superior to an SSD, and the differences are noticeable in everyday use. WD products in my experience have been reliable with no drive failing for me in the past. So to anyone looking to get this, I would recommend.

Fantastic SSD for gaming
Great SSD for gaming. 0 problems, never used the turbo (i don't like to overclock things) and it works great, my games loading times felt great!

Blazing Ridicucrazy Fast
So THE PLAN(tm) was to change out my SATA SSD for this M.2 NVMe drive. Unfortunately, I ran into a number of configuration problems that I am PRETTY SURE require that I flash my BIOS to be able to boot off the M.2 socket and I'm less than willing to go through that on a computer with a Gen 1 M.2 socket. That said, the read/write speed is 4.5 times that of my SATA SSD. When I cloned the drive, it took a little under an hour to clone 700gigs. Brutally fast, very good component. I'm going to store games and graphic files on here and pick up the active use performance boosts. I don't care too much about losing some boot speed; a long boot up time for my system is already 15 seconds; typically closer to 8. Also, prices dropped. If I had another M.2 socket to play with, I would definitely buy another drive and see about doing whatever black magic hoodoo voodoo that we all do to get it running. But for now, I'm putting it off until I get my new mobo and CPU. 5/5 stars, would buy again.

Excellent upgrade at a good price!
Installation was easy from a hardware perspective. From a software perspective it was a little more difficult because I am still holding on to Windows 7 for the moment. If you're on Windows 10 the process should be super easy. If you are trying to use Windows 7 like I was, you'll find it is very difficult to find Windows 7 NVME drivers to allow this drive to be recognized so that you can duplicate your current install over. Microsoft has provided these drivers that are generic but they aren't available that I could find through their web site. The location I found them was on a Lenovo download location and I would recommend that you search there if you're dealing with the same issues I was. Rating the drive itself, performance is excellent. I am getting results that are similar to the others posted in these comments up to 3397.36 MB/s read and 2312.80 MB/s write. I replaced a SATA 128GB Samsung 840 EVO drive with this 500GB drive due to exhausting all of the storage space. The Samsung drive made a huge difference over the prior mechanical drive and had performed well up to the point of replacement. This drive is faster still but the amount of difference that is perceptible is less than what occurred with the move from the mechanical to SSD. The way that I have noticed the improvement this time around was with app and windows load times. Both are dramatically faster than before. In general use most apps were relatively fast before but there is likely an improvement there as well. Either way, if you're on a mechanical drive, this is a no brainer if you have an m.2 slot available. If you're on an SSD and need more space, it's still a no brainer. If you have an SSD with plenty of space, it's a discretional option and it's worth it but not absolutely necessary unless you have heavy load examples like image editing, video transcoding etc. If any of those large file processing items are in play, this is a no brainer once again.

Good quailty SSD! Package came with nasty substance on box tho.
Edit: The substance was something like a gummy bear that wiped off pretty easily. Fast SSD that is easy to install and boots windows fast. Probably not the most bestest in the world but it’s pretty good bang for the buck and comes with a game code. Just bought another one but a faster 770 version with 1TB for the same price. I pulled the SSD out of the mailer and discovered a really gross substance on the outside of the box. The package itself looked really beat up too. I don’t think it’s been opened but I really would’ve liked to have a box that isn’t covered a mysterious goo. The SSD also appears intact. I’m still in the process of building a pc, so I’ll update when I put it in the computer.

Works great
Easy installation. Fit was fine. 1TB is a fair size for everday use. Very happy with it.

Seems to be a good product so far.
So I purchased this product to replace/update a traditional disc drive in a PC - I purchased the 1TB SSD. I easily installed in into my motherboard, BUT, this product did not come with the necessary screws to secure it to the motherboard. So, I had to order a separate product after the fact to do so which was a minor inconvenience. I purchased a drive cloning software separate as well to move everything over to the SSD including windows. Since doing so, I have noticed faster boot times and loading times for my games, however, I feel I might have missed a setting somewhere in some applications for writing speeds, as it seems to be about the same as before (for example downloading from Steam). However, overall, I would give this product a 4 star rating because it is definitely an upgrade and improvement from my prior setup. If this product fits in your budget, I say go for it.
