These are great because they fit my daughter from birth at 7lbs. They work best with prefolds, not bamboo inserts. My daughter now weighs 12 lbs and I love the fit around her legs because they don't seem to dig into her thighs which some snap diapers do. They are super easy to put on like a disposable diaper, so I give these to the grandmas who can't figure out snaps. Not really great for nighttime, as I like to use a bigger more absorbent inserts at night. Overall, very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend to friends.

The diaper came as advertised. WITH the double leg gussets. I really like the wider/longer hook and loop. The hook and loop allows adjust ability to a smaller setting than other kawaii diapers. I believe this is an older version of the diapers, since now they do not come with double leg gussets. The hook and loop does not appear to be as strong as other diapers I have, but time will tell if this one holds up.

I purchased this diaper four months ago because I had two other Kawaii Baby Newborn diapers that fit my daughter very well (she had a very slim build at the time). This diaper also fit her well, and wasn't too bulky under her clothing. I continue to use the diaper, and we don't have leaks. The downside is that the velcro tabs do not stay down in the wash, so they end up stuck to my inserts.

Strong chemical smell, even after prepping diaper for use. Not sure if I am doing it wrong, but when I go to close the diaper over my son, the scratchy Velcro is exposed to his skin. I make sure to cover it with his clothes, but it defeats the purpose of being able to let baby wear just a tshirt with his cloth diaper. Very cute print, though!

Had a lot of leaks with this one - the outer waterproof material seems thinner than with other brands. The print was cute and it had nice velcro tabs.

I have used several different cloth diapers on my little one who is now 10 weeks old. These have fit her for the entire time on the smallest snap setting. I like that it is a pocket diaper so you can add inserts for more absorbency. They wash well and dry fast. The Velcro is great- easy to use and fast to secure sometimes the snap diapers take me a few more seconds to get on. Kawaii Patterns are cute. No leaks when fastened correctly. The diapers and trim and fit under the 0-3 mos clothes. She was 6 lb 7 oz at birth and is now 12 lbs. they are reasonably priced and I think they are much better than the Kanga/little Joey brand for newborns. Don't waste your money on little Joey - those diapers leak and don't fit very long. Kawaii goes from 6-22 lbs in this newborn size.

Two stars for cute design and inserts that are included. The description says double leg gussets, and this diaper does not have that feature! That's the only reason I bought it so I am very disappointed.

Like the diaper, but the one I received did not have double gussets.
