the little cooker is very lightweight and very easy to use. it works just like normal kettle, very easy to take out and put it back to the base start cooking. once the base is set up, no need to plug or unplug cable or cords, very convenient to heat up a meal for 1 or 2 persons, especially great for kids to heat up their breakfast or lunch, or cooking noodles.the only disadvantages I can think of are, it does not come with a timer, or dry-burn protection. When using this cooker, we have to keep eyes on it to prevent over cook.

This hot pot is fabulous!! It is small and just the right size for one or two people using together! It boils fast and very easy to use. I love the color of this hot pot and it is very easy to wash the pot! It is very lightweight and I can bring it anywhere and just simply enjoy the hot pot!!

It served me well for about 1.5 years. The best thing about it is that it heats up fast and it is convenient. However, you have to be careful about washing it as to not get water in the base at the bottom as it could render the unit useless. It broke the other day, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the temperature dial as it was working fine and then when I tried to change the temperature, it got finicky and the power indication light would only come on if the dial was in a specific spot (somewhere not on the main 2 settings). Maybe it's the wiring, either way, it stopped working.

I generally don't give 5 stars to any items purchased. I wanted a electric pot to make hot water for tea when staying at hotels. Hotel coffee makers are generally germ factories, plus they add lingering coffee odor to my hot water. This works double duty to boil water, (1.5 litres to the max. line) as well as, a hot pot for making ramen. I've used it twice to make ramen each time with just one package and this pot can easily make two packets of ramen at once. First turn the temperature to 600W until water boils, add the ramen, wait until water boils again, then turn down to 200W until the noddles are cooked. I wasn't expecting the soup to boil at 200W. So this is quite a powerful cooker. In terms of size, it it larger than I expected. I believe this company sells a smaller sized model. I like that the electrical base unit is separate from the pot, and the exterior of the pot is not hot to the touch so you don't have to worry about burning your hands when washing. I took some photos of this pot with my water kettle so you can compare its size. I haven't used it for travel yet, so I can't rate it. If I have to buy another one, I would go with the smaller one. BTW, I wouldn't recommend using it as a kitchen appliance, to make soup, or turn it on for hours, it probably wouldn't stand up. Its good value for how I intend on use it.

It broke after couple weeks of use. The knob for changing the wattage is stuck and won’t turn and heating system has completely stopped working.

I like this ramen pot , very good for one person, dumplings or shabu shabu etc. I like to use it , small, easy to carry and I can have fresh food. I am very happy with my purchase, it's light weight, fast and convenient . My mother also love it , maybe I will buy another one .

The heating element is nice and gradual and gets hot very well. Overall ease of use is great. Just watch out for quality control. We didn't notice this chip in the glass top until it was too late. Son is taking to college and we don't have time to replace. Works great but watch for defects.

Seems durable. Heats water fast. Easy to clean. Base, which plugs in, is separate and separates easily from pot. Made the mistake of heating a can of soup on high and scorched the bottom. Low heat is plenty fast for premade food, use high only for boiling water!
