A wonderful product to communicate with all different groups for all different ways. I purchased my classic light when they first came out years ago and it still works well. I used it to send love to a long distance Cousin across the country, later a daughter n law we kind of communicate when we’re sleeping or up, then my daughter added a lamp for the same reason. We each have our special color. Installation was a breeze. I first had some communication with my lamp dropping off my private network. Their tech support is amazing after all these years. They are priced so well, have different styles now and offer remote touch for a nominal fee. you can activate your lamp to the members of from anywhere in the app. You can also add additional groups. Now how cool is that. It’s nice to let people know your thinking of them just to send a beam of light

I bought these lamps on impulse after seeing an advertisement. I had no idea they existed. So first off, I have to say the concept of keeping in touch through a light is brilliant! I had the pair shipped to my home and kept one and shipped the other to my dad. I am in NY, my dad is in NJ. There is a set-up tutorial from Filimin on Youtube- for you visuals. Otherwise there is simple step-by-step instructions that will come with your light. The lights are shipped in great protective packaging. The light works by Wifi, so each person that has a light has to have private wifi. The light itself is personally crafted with the name of who put it together written on the bottom of your lamp! 0: :) The colors to choose from are plentiful and very rich/luminous. It makes for great decor as well as its function of keeping you in touch with your loved ones. After you set-up your lamp, you invite other people who have a lamp to join your group on your filimin registration page. This is done by simply sending an e-mail. So, after wifi, you do have to have your loved ones e-mail. If you get at-all stuck or confused, the Filimin site offers their assistance by phone or e-mail. I can personally say, their customer service is great. You do have to wait about an hour for a response, but they help you until your light is set-up and running for those of you not too tech-savy (even though you don't have to be to own one of these). It was helpful for me to write down my Dad's Filimin ID before mailing it to him- so I can talk with Customer Service. I did order another lamp as a single and directly mailed it to my aunt from Amazon. Single lamps have the same set-up and instructions. I do plan on buying more as time goes on. They are a little pricey, but its uniqeness makes up for the price. I am really satisfied with this product and customer service!

My son recently moved out of state for a while so I decided to buy him and I both one of these lamps. This is probably the best gift I’ve ever bought. We both love it so much! It’s really easy to set up and it works perfectly! I look forward to touching it and to seeing it after he’s touched his.

The Good: First, I'd like to start with the fact that I love these lamps. There's a large color variety and they seem to be extremely responsive. I got these so that my girlfriend and I could let each other know when we're thinking about one another. We also end up doing this thing where we lay in bed and change the color on one another over and over. They're very easy to set up and already come attached to each other so you really only have to set them up to connect to your internet as they connect over wifi and that's it. As long as they're connected via internet, they'll find each other. The lights are quite bright and will fill a small room with a lovely glow if it has no other lighting to compete with. The Bad: They're very expensive for what they are. They're made completely of plastic and the stained glass look, while very aesthetically pleasing, is just a black plastic lines melted over an opaque plastic box and then framed. I can't say with complete certainty, but the lighting, housing, and wifi adapter and Bluetooth adapter built into the system doesn't seem to account for the heavy price of these lamps. The lighting variety is wonderful, however, it isn't choosable. In the video, you'll see that every time I touch the lamp, it cycles between random colors. There's no perceivable way to choose specific ones. This is disappointing, as I would've loved to be able to choose certain colors for certain thoughts or feelings to portray to my girlfriend. Overall: I think you're paying for the novelty more than anything. I would look for some cheaper options. I would've happily paid less for less colors but with more control over the ones I could choose from. I'm happy enough with the ones I received and I'm going to keep them, but if I could do it all again, I would scour the internet for something more to my liking. This is a personal preference, mostly. If you don't mind the price tag and are good with the color-cycle mechanic, these seem to be sturdy enough to last a good while.

When your best friend / sister in law lives 8 hours away... its a great way to say hi when you cant necessarily delve into a phone call. The kids turn it into a game to see who say hi more often. Color options are limitless. And it fits into any room!

I purchased this lamp in 2022 to keep in touch with my best friend who lives across the country. It has brought me years of joy watching it change colors. I was upset when it started malfunctioning after almost 4 years of use. I reached out to their customer service team to see if they could help and they were very responsive. They worked with me to help troubleshoot the issue that I was having. After everything they suggested failed, they sent a replacement lamp. I was NOT expecting them to replace it because there is no warranty. They took great care of me and I recommend this company for anyone looking for a fun visual way to keep in touch with friends and family afar. Don't let the price stop you, they stand by their product and you certainly get what you pay for!

This products work beautifully and looks beautiful, I gave one to my daughter who is in university and we can send a little light to each other! you can choose your own color and change it as many times as you need. The app makes everything so easy

We purchased a set for our mom to have one and our toddler nieces to have the other. This way, when they missed Gramma or were thinking of her, they could "communicate" (even though they're only four). They LOVE being able to "say hi" to their Gramma in another city just by touch. Gramma is equally delighted when she'll be sitting watching TV, reading or having a meal and **blink** the light dances/changes colours. She knows the little ones are thinking of her and it absolutely tickles her pink. It makes all equally happy when Gramma can "send them love" back without having wait to text or call their busy parents first. We'll definitely be buying a second set in time for the other two homes in the family 💞👌🏻 I don't usually take the time to write Amazon reviews as I always think "I'll do it later" then get side tracked and never do. This product, however, is so worth stopping everything to sit down and review as it brings beauty and ease of communication for a senior citizen (nearly 80) and her granddaughters (age 4) to a new level of ease and delight. As an aside, I wonder if this would work on some level of cognizance for a dementia patient in a home as well. They may not remember WHO is saying "I am thinking of you" through light BUT they may possibly have some recall that the light means "hello" and MAY find it easy recognition to touch it and say "hello" back

I know a phone call or a text is easy. But sometimes it's fun to just touch the lamp and let the other person(s) know you're thinking of them. I got this for my siblings and stepmom. They all love it. The company, Filimin, is very accessible and supportive to getting up and running (that's if you run into issues). It took us a bit to figure it out and I still did it wrong. They helped us get it working. It was expensive up front, but so happy I got these! ❤️

Super easy. Works over long distance. Amazing gift for loved ones and the kids love it as well

One of the two lamps constantly loses connection multiple times a day and hasn’t worked properly since the day we got them. Have tried every troubleshooting step possible besides the hassle of trying to return them. Had better expectations considering the high cost. Would definitely reconsider a different product next time..
