The Chronicles of Avantia #1: First Hero (1) Paperback – December 1, 2012

I chose a five star rating because it got me wondering how far Derthsin had actually gotten to destroying or ruling the kingdom. There is definitely something fishy going on between Geffen and Derthsin. I wonder if they're related in some way. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who favors the Beast Quest series. You will NEVER EVER read another book like this one. The only books that are like this one are the rest of the books in this series. Go read another Chronicles of Avantia book and may the beasts be with you!

This book is one of the best books I have read. I really enjoyed reading about all of the war in this book. I felt sorry for tanner because all of his family was taken from him . I can't wait to read the next book.

In this, the first book in the series, the world of Avantia is at war and only the reemergence of the BEASTS can hope to save everyone. Firepos finds Tanner and the battle for humanity begins.Adam Blade's first book in his quadrology of the Chronicles of Avantia. This is a fairly quick read coming in at 155 pages and slightly larger than normal font and spacing. Still Blade manages to kick the series off well.While this is a young reader book, there are a few instances of extreme violence and death.The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was that, while the story itself is enjoyable, it didn't have enough of a strong grab for me.

I have read all of the Beast Quest books and when I heard that Adam Blade was making new books I knew I had to read them!!!

my son loves books, has all of these. loves getting them as fast as they come out. wish they were quicker to come out LOL

This was an easy read and entertaining. It would be really great for young readers. I am a Grandma and I enjoyed it very much. Two thumbs up!
