BELIEVE ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS...IT'S THE TRUTH.Having seen all the ONE STAR reviews of this product relating to MISSING MOUNTING BRACKETS, I called Laverne Customer Service on 2 separate occasions to confirm that their product codes include the brackets. They informed me, on both occasions, that 415254 was the rear step and 401478 was the brackets. So I looked again at the photos accompanying the product that show the first pic as the rear step and the second pic as the brackets and, coupled with the assurances from Laverne, I decided to ignore all those negative reviews that stated that the brackets were missing and ordered the 415254-401478 product from Amazon.HOW WRONG CAN ONE BE ?You can predict what happened next: The brackets were MISSING from the box that was delivered.In my attempt to resolve the problem, I called Laverne and they said they sell in bulk to Amazon and that they have NO interest/say whether or not Amazon misrepresents their product and that I should direct all complaints to Amazon. So I called Amazon's customer service at least FOUR separate times in the space of 30 minutes to get the matter resolved. On EVERY occasion, the Amazon rep brushed me off, essentially saying "if you don't like the product, you are welcome to return it".That's it. No explanation as to their explicit and implicit fraudulent misrepresentations through pics and words. No "we recognize the problem and we'll fix it." Just a simple "GET LOST".

The rear step is very good quality, but it does NOT ship with mounting brackets. Description shows and states vehicle specific brackets included....."This rear step is designed to fit specific years of the Ram ProMaster 1500, 2500 and 3500 (see application info to verify fitment). It comes with powder-coated steel mounting brackets and stainless steel hardware for a complete installation from start to finish"

BUYERS BE WARNED, THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE MOUNTING BRACKET. I find it a little ridiculous that the mounting bracket is not included when there is NO INDICATION in the description (it actually states that it includes the brackets) the main title includes the specific vehicle I was purchasing for, and there is a picture of the brackets in the product images. If this is a universal step with vehicle specific brackets change the damn title to say universal, vehicle specific brackets sold separately. Buyers should not have to wait for the product to arrive to find out that the "Ram Promaster Grip Step" they ordered is just the step with no Ram Promaster specific brackets or related parts.

ORDERED FIRST ONE AND ONLY BRACKET CAME IN, OREDED AGIAN BECAUSE NEEDED THEM QUICKLY, AND AGAIN NO STEP!!!!! DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT IF YOU ARE WANTING A STEP.. FOR THE PRICE IS RIDICULOUS FOR ONLLY BRACKETS

Just want to save someone else from the hassle of buying this item and expecting brackets to come with it. It doesn’t! Even though the listing description says it does. Save yourself some time and order this for the same price on Carid (with brackets)

You can't find a better rear step for the money. Excellent quality, aluminum step, galvanized metal brackets, heavy duty plastic end caps which are good if someone hits their leg or head on the corner, stainless steel bolts and nuts for the step, no rusting. The brackets that hold the step are heavy duty steel with steel bolts and nuts. Easy to install on a ram promaster van. Step and brackets arrived together within 5days. Ignore any negative reviews, buy it you wont regret it.
