Wow. I have several books about domination, and Ive been practicing the lifestyle for several years, and this book is still amazingly helpful for me. It is very practical and real. I love the perspectives, the dinamics and the psychology. Im loving it.

I had no clue what I was in for. I'm glad I got the book. It helped me understand the do's & don't s.

I think I would have given this book 5 stars just for identifying with three things I hold dear. 1. Many submissives know it is an inborn orientation they were born with and not a tchosen lifestyle. 2. Given #1, submissives should be treated legally as a group with rights that match their needs, at least the right to be seen minimally clothed, leashed, and similar. Some form of cosnsual legal slavery should be possible to protect dominants . 3. It may take an extraordinary amount of love, but it is a loving and kind act to dominate and punish a submissive properly. The rest of the book is mostly a lot of mists of examples of dominant or submissive acts and actions. These are slightly spoiled by sometimes being presented as absolutes ( I.e. you "must"), which I think we should try to avoid. It is the reason I couldn't quite give 5 stars .

I did not read the readable portion carefully enough. This book is mostly about women dominating men. And I was hoping for more philosophy and psychology and less examples. This book is absolutely full of examples. Probably very enjoyable and educational if you are a Dominatrix.

Well written in clear language. This book explores finding the ways to maintain a happy FLR household. Also nice, is that she takes on differing levels of domination, and different gendered relationships.

A good book

Good read and a nice place to start. Some real great and sadistic ideas came out of this. Kinda wish I had read mistress Scarlet's name on the cover might not have been so surprising when I got to a certain point.
