Brooks Moving Comfort by Fiona Adjustable High Impact Sports Bra (Cups B-DD)

Quality has gone downhill since I first purchased in 2010. Fabric is flimsier. Band has been changed and rides up on the first wearing. Straps wrinkle. The inner elastic band is obviously of lesser quality. I still have the ones I originally purchased and they are almost in as good condition as some new ones I just bought. I loved the original Fiona (which a lot of these reviews are for--check the dates).It's disappointing when American companies cut corners on their goods and expect us to pay the same prices for less quality.

I bought this bra almost 4 years ago because I had an amazon gift card and I was tired of wearing two bras to go jogging. I go through phases of wearing it every day for weeks because it's so dang comf, and of course I wear it exercising. I'M WEARING IT RIGHT NOW. When I first bought it, it was super snug on the loosest hooks, three years later I've only had to tighten to the middle hooks. I think I've had to adjust the straps once since I bought it. The velcro straps are amazing and never ever come apart (although maybe if you adjust them a ton they'll lose their velcro-ness). It also makes a great alternative to a cami in the summer.Fresh out of the package it did feel a little tight, but only for the first couple times I wore it. It does have a minimizing effect which some people don't like, but it's nice if I want to alter my silhouette, such as with drapey shirts and dresses, and it's so supportive without looking bad at all who cares if your boobs look a little smaller?The only thing negative I could say is that after 4 years it tends to stink more easily, as most synthetic exercise clothes do. I solve this by soaking it in water & white vinegar before sending it through the wash. That and the fact that it's freakin expensive, but it's SO worth it. (also, I found a brand new pink one on ebay in my size for only $10! hooray)I'm a size 28/30 DD/E (29" underbust) and I have the 30DD. My boobs have never been so secure.

Surprisingly enough, I first started using this bra for breastfeeding after my son was born. I was desperate for a supportive comfortable bra, and it was a bonus that the straps were adjustable and came down in the front for easy access. But, that was about a year ago and these bras are now my go to workout bra , especially for running! They wash up nicely (if you don't put them in the dryer) and are built to last. The material is very soft and forms to your body. True to size, in my opinion.

The material is too thin. It's soft and comfortable but not supportive enough. Headlights are definitely still on. Moving Comfort used to make the Juno sports bra which I was a HUGE fan of. However, once Brooks took over Moving Comfort, then changed the JUNO bra and it's much thinner and less supportive than it used to be. So, I was looking for a replacement but this isn't going to work. It's so hard to find a quality sports bra. These companies are charging $50+ dollars for these things and the quality and support are inadequate. It's so frustrating. Bring back the old Juno!

Hands down one of the best/most comfortable sports bras I have ever had. Bonus that it isn’t outrageously expensive. I’m not large chested but I do a lot of high impact (read: extremely chest bounce inducing) sports and it definitely keeps said bouncing in check! Also bonus that it hooks in the back so taking it off is not an additional work out. My only issue is I really want the white one and it seems to always be sold out in my size. I also wish they made a nude colored one. Definitely gonna order more though

I'm still waiting for someone to invent the PERFECT sports bra for booby runners, but in the meantime, the Fiona should be a go-to sports bra for all women runners with a C cup and bigger.I have worked at a running store for two years, have been a runner for nearly a decade and have never been smaller than a DDD cup (although cup sizes are hard to quote because there does not seem to be one standard system- F, E, G, DDD- they all seem to be used interchangeably depending where you are). It seems that most women are drawn to the traditional racerback style (because that's what everyone thinks of as a "sports bra"), but that design just does not work for us big-chested women. I'm always amused by booby women who dismiss the Fiona or Maia because the the hooks are "too annoying." More annoying than an hour of your boobs flying in every direction (not to mention the pain)? Granted, the Fiona does not look as sexy as those Champion bras that work perfectly with a racerback tank top, but you know what's even less sexy? Saggy boobs at age 30. I know, it makes me angry too- it's just not fair. Don't you wish those A-cup women who complain about small breasts could try just ONCE running with what we've got? Nevertheless, we're in this together and luckily we're getting closer to something that can totally support us.I've run with the Maia, Fiona, and Helena (I won't even bother with the Dori- great bra, but not for my size). Although the Maia looks as though it's far more technical than the Fiona, it just doesn't compress my chest enough to be supportive. The Helena is fine but I can't get the sweat smell out when I wash it. Almost all women customers who go into the dressing room with an armful of heavy duty bras (including the totally overrated, Oprah-endorsed Enell) leave the store with the Fiona. No joke.However, as I noted earlier, it's not perfect. I suggest going down in size (either in width or cup size) to get a little extra compression. I always wear a sports tank with a built-in shelf bra over the Fiona. It's like a bra and a half, rather than two bulky bras (which of course I've done for years). This will create the needed support to keep that chest tissue from stretching too much.Most importantly, however, I recommend finding a local running store and trying on a bunch, including the Fiona. Fiddle around with the size- go down until it's too tight to wear. Sports bras are like running shoes- the only way to tell if it's going to work is to put it on your OWN body. Support the running store (if you like the service) and buy your first bra(s) there, and then buy online if you want once you find the right bra for YOU.

I am a 30DD in regular Bras, and these high impact Bras have been perfect for all forms of exercises. They are tight and do not loosen over time. So the fit is maintained over years. I have had these bras for at least the past 5 yrs. I buy more just because of boredom with the colors I already own, not because of loss of elasticity or quality. I have recommended them to my friends and patients. Everyone seems satisfied with the quality.Thank You
