I am so happy with this purchase of Saffron. Each little thread is in perfect condition. I did not know the difference between good saffron and excellent. I now realize the difference.This seller is spot on with the description of this Saffron. I purchased three separate small tins . I had decided to purchase one for myself and the other two will be gifts for my Persian girlfriends.Saffron was completely unknown to me 10 years ago until I was working with my beautiful friend on a game show and we brought in our lunches daily to save time running back and forth from the crew tent . My friend always had this beautiful golden tea and I finally asked her what it was because it looked like apple juice. The next day she brought me my own container of this liquid gold. I am now obsessed with the subtle flavor of this as my daily tea.I was also taught how to infuse dishes such as rice with Barberries and Saffron. This is a beautiful dish and it smells sooooo good and I found that I make this often.The difference with this saffron from this seller is amazing . I can use less saffron threads and get that same sparkling color and the fragrance is well bodied. My journey with Saffron has been love at first sight and now I have found the most fresh, most color and flavorful saffron on Amazon. I don’t have to have people send me the rich and well priced Saffron from Glendale, California. I now know exactly where to purchase my personal indulgence in this incredible herb. ( I don’t know if it’s a herb or spice)Less is more with this particular seller’s Afghan Saffron. I do not care at all for Spanish saffron because of the difference in flavor and fragrance. However, if I were to try Spanish Saffron again, I would definitely purchase from this seller again since they absolutely do know their products.The tin that it came in is extra nice as well! It has a screw on top which is perfect for my purse when I want to add saffron to my hot tea at work.I am hooked! In. Very good way.

There a lot of spices that fake on the market. And I took a risk and bought this saffron to try for my pilaf. And it IS true saffron. You definitely see these little tiny flowers that brought my pilaf yellowish color and distinctive gorgeous taste.

To start with, Saffron usage in my recipes are minimal as it should be. This, as with most spices is the cooks choice to flavor at will. I use this and at times I will use Liquid Saffron. This brand does not disappoint. It is a subtle yet noticeable addition to many dishes. This is the first time I have purchased this brand, however I will not be going back. (If this matters to you) It is rated #1. You just may want to consider this brand.

Strong strong aroma. Pretty wonderful stuff & has little to no yellow stick pieces. The saffron I got from a local store was really thin. This stuff looks bigger and has very stiff pieces (might be due to the weather in my area and being in the mailbox)Seems amazing to me. Effects are pleasant as per usual with saffron. :) much love people.

I have not used the product yet nor have I opened it, but I removed 2 stars for 2 reasons. Packaging is neat and the glass container is pretty nice, it doesn't lose freshness quick nor is it coming in contact with plastic. The product however looks to be less than what is shown in the photo, way less. If you scroll through the product photos it'll show you a chart of the fresh saffron and the cheaper one. This saffron is not bright red, it looks exactly like the second to last in the chart, it has barely notice yellow tips. This feels too good to be true.UPDATE: So they had contacted me over a week ago and shipped me a replacement, they also asked that I return the first order. No fuss and very helpful. Their customer service is on point and quick. (Round Tin is the replacement and the Glass Jar was the first order)On the other hand, their replacement product is a lot fresher and the scent is phenomenal. I'm very happy they were able to contact me to have a replacement shipped out. I do believe now that it is not a shady business and they keep their word for having the best saffron. First product could've been because of bad storage in an Amazon facility or somewhere between those lines, that or it was not so fresh. Nevertheless, I'm very pleased and will be buying more soon.

This was my second purchase from this seller. The saffron is beautiful and delicious for my uses.The was a problem with a damaged G I'm glass jar this order ( thank you USPS).. the seller sent a replacement out that I just received. Thank you. I will order again and recommend this seller and product.Perhaps the seller Could package it to withstand more punishment in the US Mail system.

This was my first official purchase of saffron threads and I was very pleased. The packaging and the little container it’s in so cute. The quality is great. A little goes a long way. Great quantity for your money as well. The fact that it is from a great middle eastern source was good to know.
