Love it
This is great for a quick solution to tame frizz or bed head hair. I have wavy hair so I still need to use my ghd straighteners afterwards to get a sleek look but this great to tidy my hair before styling or If wearing up.It’s a huge time saver. It heats up in about a minute and it’s very hot but you don’t burn yourself on the brush like some other heated appliances and it’s quite easy to handle.Makes hair super smooth and great for morning rush to tidy your hair up quicklyI definitely would recommend

amazing product!!
impulse buy but what a buy!! i have got fine curly hair that i have damaged with heat and bleach so my 2025 goal was a hair journey to repair my hair and one of the most damaging things is constantly straightening my hair everyday, when it first arrived i had only blasted dry my hair the previous day and stuck up in a claw clip, slept in a silk bonnet and when i remove that in the morning my hair is wild! well i couldn't wait to try this after watching Tiktok videos on it, plugged it in and it makes a noise hold the button down to turn on (takes a min or so it's not as quick as my straighteners) then the button goes solid when ready, i sectioned my hair as i would with the straighteners and OMG it is amazing it actually straightens the hair not just smoothing it! took me 5 mins tops to do my hair, 2nd use i blasted my hair dry and done the same sectioned my hair again took 5 mins tops to do my hair, but what i really like about it it actually gives my hair a bit volume and hair looks naturally straight rather than poker straight, it took all the kinks and frizz out my hair, i dont think i will actually use my straighteners in the foreseeable it is that good, i also read reviews that it would not be good for fine hair what a lot of rubbish cause my hair is so fine and worked a treat, if you are swithering to buy it just do it you will not regret it at all and saves time and effort using straighteners,Beware though it does get hot and i burnt my finger on it but that was my fault

Great on my fine, frizzy hair
I have the weirdest hair. It is naturally dark blond, very fine, and if left to dry naturally forms all over frizzy ringlets. As soon as I use a haidryer to rough dry it, it goes fluffy and fairly straight, and then the first sign of damp it is frizzy, curly and unmanageable. Safe to say apart from the colour of my hair, I hate it! I bought this thinking I had probably wasted a load of money on yet another expensive hair toy to add to my vast collection of implements that do nothing for my hair! But.....I fairly rough dried my hair after putting some serum on the bottom half, then used this when it was completely dry. My hair is now pretty straight, more shiny (because it is smooth) and after going out in the cold for a walk not the usual dreadful frizzy mess it would be. I have used it three times now, assuming that the first time was a fluke, but no - same results. Takes no time, just like giving your hair a good brush, and heats up in a couple of minutes. I am actually hopeful that this tool will work for me!!

Great product
I bought this so I didn't have to straighten my hair using flat irons everyday. The brush itself is the usual ghd quality, well made and heats up well. The principle of this is fantastic and its really easy to use. My teenage daughter, could use this with more confidence than using conventional flat irons. So why only 4 stars. Well, although this is a fantastic product, I felt like it wasn't really compatible with my hair type.I have fine, shoulder length hair, so it felt like there was very little traction. My hair just 'floated' on top of the bristles. This meant, my hair wasn't really touching the heat.My daughter on the other hand has a lot of thick hair and this worked perfectly. But she still choose to use the ghd original straightener.

The best I've ever tried!
I have had the GHD glide for 3 days, I used it on my coarse frizzy wavy hair twice and on my daughter's fine slightly wavy hair once.I think it took me less than 20 min to do my hair when it normally takes 35/40 with hair straighteners (I worked in big sections and it works fine). I want to clarify my hair isn't as straight as it is with straighteners but it is not what I am looking for , I wanted smooth hair, no statics and volume/bouncy and results that last until my next hair wash and it does! Also the device is quiet and that's a big pros for me.I found it works well on my daughter's hair too (at least that one time).I bought a returned device (from Amazon warehouse) the box was damaged but the device barely had marks and was almost half the price, definitely worth it! Also I feel like it reduces waste so that's good too.I also wanted to comment on the lack of heat setting and placement of the button. The heat is perfect, I normally use 200 degrees C but I understand this one is 185 and it works perfectly. Then the button, well I don't see how it's a problem, you have to press for a while to turn it off so you're unlikely to turn it off by accident. It's really simple to use, you can't make a device more straight forward. So it's a big 5***** for me, if I could go on holiday I that definitely would me one of my essentials! Now, I wonder if I should add ghd hair straighteners on my wishlist? ;)

I was so disappointed :(
I bought this during a sell....l was so happy having saved lost of dosh! However, l returned this item straight away. Yes, it does straighten hair, but its heavy and not easy to use. I really think the design is poor. You have to use your own hair brush to hold hair in place to brush hair with straightener. My standard straightener is more effective, easier to use and its quicker to use. Don't waste your money ladies!!
