4pc Boston Shaker Set

This is a great shaker set. They appear and feel well made, and they get the job done. My only complaint is that the jigger only has 1oz and 1/2oz measurements without gradations, meaning that you may need another tool to measure smaller amounts. Be warned, though - any shaking tins with ice in them will form an air-tight seal which is necessary for shaking the fluids inside. It can be difficult to pull the tins apart after shaking a cocktail. It may even require a good smack to the side of the tin. Though you may have seen some bartenders use a pint glass instead of the smaller tin when shaking, I would not recommend it here. The metal tins are slightly flexible, allowing for the seal to be broken more easily. Glass is not flexible, and may shatter or become very difficult to remove. Just use the provided tins, they work great! TL;DR - Great shaker set, but don't use a pint glass to shake.

Just got into cocktail making at home and needed the quintessential set to make things happen. Sturdy, well fabricated pieces that have nicely weighted bottoms. The seal is perfect and they clean like a dream. The strainer feels substantial, not flimsy at all. My bartender friend was impressed with the quality of the parts and he's a very selective guy when it comes to the products he uses at his bar.

The jigger I received has no volumetric markings which is fine if you’re a skilled bartender. The seal on this is secure, it doesn’t leak however I would describe it as a medium seal. I do “hard-shake” with both hands and haven’t had any issues with leaking. But I wouldn’t suggest shaking with one hand. The tins separate fairly easily, no trouble with un jamming. The smaller tin is a smaller height than what most bars usually have. The strainer is good quality and fits in nicely. This is good for low frequency drink orders at businesses and home use.

This is the quality that I expected for the cost, so I'm happy. The stainless steel is not thick, and the "weighted" description isn't really true (another reviewer posted a picture of the bottom cap piece). It fits together tightly with no leaks and works as expected. The jigger is a useful design and size that is easy to use.

This shaker set is just what I was looking for! After enjoying an excellent Hanson Harbenero martini with muddled strawberries and cilantro at a swanky bar in Oakland, I was determined to recreate it myself. The cool bartender gave me the recipe and I watched him make it (3 times)! I needed the right equipment and found this set on Amazon. I purchased this one because another review said the weighted bottom shaker is the way to go. Dear people...I did it! It only took a few tries which my friends were happy to help with. I did watch about 10 You Tube videos of badass bartenders to get the seal and break apart technique down. I’m feeling happy because it’s the weekend and I’m gonna create even more delicious martinis with my crew!

Most of the bartending "tool kits" advertised - include a bunch of stuff that I wasn't interested in (Bottle pour tops, long spoons, muddlers, bottle caps, etc. I just needed a shaker, a jigger and a strainer - which is EXACTLY what I got in this product. I ordered it on a Thursday ... it was delivered the next day - and at a very reasonable price. What's not to love about that!?

Love it, still use it 4 years after

I had the other kind of shaker with a top part and a built in strainer and I could never get it opened or sometimes shut. A real disappointment when you are set on your coveted cocktail. None of the pieces fit (this was not a cheap shaker). Decided to give this sort a try and am more than pleased. No problem using it at all. No leaks, easy to use, cleans easily.

After purchasing and returning a regular cocktail shaker because it leaked and caused a mess, I did a lot of online research and watched a lot of videos about cocktail shakers. I am SO HAPPY to have purchased this Cresimo Boston Shaker set! Everything fits easily back into the box for easy storage. The stainless steel measure is double ended with 1 oz and 1/2oz. This measure is excellent, no drips! I am a beginner cocktail shaker and I have made a handful of different cocktails and the shaker has NOT LEAKED! The two cups haven't become stuck together (which I was told could happen), which I think might be because the top of the smaller cup is a bit tapered in. The key is to put the drink ingredients and ice into the smaller container before putting it together and shaking, so the shaker doesn't become overfilled. There are lots of videos out there about cocktail shaking I suggest watching. I have only hand-washed and towel dried the pieces, and they have come out shiny just like new. I am a cocktail shaking convert! The cocktail shown in my photo is an Alpine Sapphire Martini and was delicious. Happy Cocktail Shaking! Thank You Cresimo!

We used to have a 3 piece set but I always found it impossible to get the lid off once the ice made everything seize up. That problem has been eliminated with this boston shaker set. Additionally, I like how it's not super branded (only a faint logo on the bottom) and the steel seems to be of good quality. We throw it in the dishwasher after use. I've also had no problems with spillage and I have never used a boston shaker prior to this purchase.
