Bigen Semi Permanent Hair Color #A4 Amber, 3 oz

Bigen is my favorite in this category of hair product. It is similar in packaging/style to the Clairol Beautiful Collection, but what you don't tend to see about the Clairol product is that it contains four types of parabens.. ..four! ..Bigen doesn't contain parabens.I am only going for subtle color and semi permanent colors are soo much more gentle.. no perox developer.Semi-permanent means no big struggle w/ritual. I put it on before bathing and I'm happy.I trust the product so much that during the week, I dab it on if I've missed a spot on my hairline or my lady sideburns get ahead of me. Dab it on and just let it dry in.I like color deposit hair conditioners too, but their prices ran away. Bigen is economical and I trust it.

This was the first time ordering this product. I've purchased from Clairol's Beautiful Collection in the past, but will order from Bigen again, as the product is just as good and the price a little lower. If you're to the point you no longer want dry brittle hair caused by products that require peroxide, this product is perfect. I have some gray in my hair and this covers the gray well giving the hair a golden frosted look. My natural color stays the same as my natural color. This is worth a try!

It don't last long

What I love about this product, and what keeps me reordering it is the color, the smell and effect on my hair. The color is vibrant, the smell is quite pleasant, and my hair isn’t dry and brittle, the way it is when I use other products. Having said all of that, I would be remiss if I did not say that the color does not last very long. I use it on chemically relaxed hair which states that you don’t need to apply heat; but, I do leave it on for about 25 minutes, and within a couple of weeks the color bleeds. Having said all of that, I don’t plan to change to another product.

Didn't take on my light hair at all. Waste of money even if it was under 10.....could have been lunch. And DEFINITELY a waste of time applying and waiting for nothing. Move along yall, nothing to write home about here.

This is a repeat for using this product, and I’m very happy with the outcome.

Some of these reviews are negative and I always wonder if people follow the directions. Like many hair stylists recommend, I only went 1 shade darker than my natural hair color. As directed, I apply to unshampooed hair. I let set, covered, (without heat, which is recommended), and my hair was absolutely 1 shade darker. The product smelled rather pleasant, applied well, and did not damage my hair. The color is supposed to last 6-10 washes. It absolutely lasted that and as it washed out, my hair color continued to look natural. It is unlikely you will be unhappy with the results if you fail to follow directions to attempt to dye your hair more than 1 or 2 shades darker than your natural color. This product is not designed to be used to lighten hair.

Bigen semi permanent hair dye is easy to use and love that it is gentler on my hair than permanent hair dye. I can get 3 or 4 colors out of each bottle.

It smelt great! But it didn't really stick to my hair, despite leaving it on my head for a couple hours. Had to just slap a different dye on it. It is good if you already have brown hair and just want a richer colour.

Bought this product on amazon, done a few strand tests on my mothers grey hair. Never dyed it at all. I thing that batch was fake. Bought the same product elsewhere and it worked as usual.
