Great strap replacement. We picked up a new set of Dogtra 1900X dual dog system a few months ago, since we have a (very bratty) pup. Our older gentleman, Loki, who kindly modeled the new collar has a black OG Dogtra strap, but Miss Tova, a 6 month old psycho (I mean GSD with a hearty helping of Malinois) had the flourescent orange collar strap that came with the system. That was fine, and easy to spot her, but also draws a lot of attention in public. E-collars get enough bad publicity, I don't need to add to speculation. This new brown collar blends fairly well with her dark sable coat. If someone is paying attention, sure it looks like an e-collar, but it doesn't scream 'look at me!' like the orange did. I like that the biothane is a matte finish. I just think the glossy biothane looks cheap and gaudy, but thats just me. Also, the matte has a more satiny feeling on the skin, and presumably the fur. Its comfy anyway. Finally, in case another Dogtra 1900X user is wondering... Yes, the 1' strap will fit perfectly. The box does not slide around easily, but you can adjust it when needed. The matte finish scratches up pretty easily, but its a working dog collar, so frankly, who cares? The hardware is heavy duty and sturdy with reinforced rivets to secure it. A big D ring, not that you should ever clip a leash to a remote collar, but its easier to hang the collars while charging, or add a safety leash with a prong for an emergency. The strap is also plenty long enough. I haven't measured it, but the big fella in the photo there is 120# and intact with a very thick neck and a massive noggin. This strap fits him easily with more to spare. When the pup reaches her full size I will trim the excess, but for now, I have plenty of strap to fit even a horse. I have heard that the Educator system is the best other option to the Dogtra. I have never used it personally, but if the biothane strap is anything to go off, I wouldn't hesitate to get an Educator if we needed a new system. Overall, I couldn't be happier. Next time we need a replacement, this is what we will get.

These are great quality! Bought 3 of them for each dog.

We live out in the woods and my dog wears an ecollar any time he's outside. He had a run in with a skunk and while I was able to remove the smell from him, the ecollar held onto that skunk spray with a vengeance. It was pretty bad. I ordered this collar to replace the skunky one and it's perfect. The ecollar 'module' slid right on and it's a perfect fit. It also came the next day which was great because the other one was super stinky and I was past ready to trash it lol. I think i like this new collar even more than the old one. It's a little more rigid than the last one was, which makes putting it on and guiding the end piece through the d ring so much easier than the floppy skunk scented one. I'm glad I was easily able to find a replacement and that it came as quickly as it did. With any luck we won't have another run in with a skunk (he's been sprayed twice this year so I might be reaching lol) and this collar will last us for years to come.

Bright color seems to be holding up easy to clean and cut to size

I purchased this collar to be used with my. E-Collar unit for my dog. It was easy to slide on to my unit and it was quite long. They’re made that way so you can cut them down to size it to your dogs neck. It was very easy to cut it. The bio saying material for a collar and dog leashes are very durable and will last you a long time. I would highly recommend this.

It was just as described but if you have a dog that chews don’t bother getting it. Within 2 hours our other dog chewed it right off of her 😳 Well, we tried. Back to the nylon we go.
