I got this to go with a replacement cassette for an older mountain bike I didn’t want to spend too much money on but enough to keep it running. The chain has worked out well, the performance has been working out well , I have not had any slipping or over stretching and it’s held up under uphill climbing. The installation was not difficult if you have done chain replacements before, you just need to make sure the length is right and not over push out the peg. Best to play around with the old one until you feel comfortable with doing it, then work with the new chain.

I tried matching a KMC chain to my Shimano Tiagra derailur but it did not run so smooth, etc. replaced with this and it is excellent. You need to either get a KMC masterlink or use the included pin to close the loop - that may be more for a professional if you’ve never done before.

World of difference from the stock chain that came with my bike. Shifting is much smoother and requires less effort to get my bike moving or to increase my speed when needed.
