Purchased this Charger to replace the one I lost for my Sony CyberShot DSC-H3 camera. It works perfectly - charging my existing BG1 battery & the included BG1 with no problems. The car connector works great too - although it does take a bit longer to fully charge the battery. I am so pleased with this package! It includes the charger, a car connector for the charger AND a new BG1 battery -- all for 1/4 of the price for the charger alone on the Sony site. So -- close down the browser tab on the Sony site and buy this package instead. It's a great value. The Amazon seller rating list is a wonderful way of making sure you are buying from reputable and reliable sellers.

The only complaint I have is the battery fits too snugly into the Sony battery charger that I have with my camera. However, the battery fits into mu Sony HX5V camera. I have had the battery for over a year and use it constantly (along with my original Sony battery). Between the two batteries I never run out of battery life in a day. I would highly recommend this charger and battery as a low cost replacement (or extra) backup.

I purchased this after I saw that the Sony info-lithium battery cost $50 at BestBuy! I really wanted a battery charger that will work in the car. Occasionally I do need to charge a battery when I'm out on a day trip because I failed to charge it prior to leaving the house. I also wanted a back-up battery. For less than $10 I accomplished both goals. The charger is solid, and works flawlessly. If you have a need for this I highly recommend you pick this up.

Bought my Sony Camera at Best Buy for $400. Had to buy a battery for $50 (charger came with the camera I guess).On a recent move I seemed to have lost the charger, and Best Buy told me Sony would charge me $60 for a new charger, or I could buy their own generic brand for $45. How nice.I checked out Amazon, and found this little number. I could not beat the price!Not only did I get a charge, but a battery as well!I was skeptical, that it wouldn't even work in my camera, but I charged my own battery first (success!) and then the new off-brand battery. Both charged fine.I gave this 4 out of 5 only because I have not fully tested the new battery to see how long it lasts. HOnestly though, for the price it could last 2 hours and I'd just buy 4 more to stock up on!BUY IT!

I left my original charger in a hotel, and was on an extended trip and really needed my camera. I found this product on Amazon and had it within 2 days. It works as well as the original and getting a spare battery was a plus. When I priced a Sony replacement battery before it was $60. The replacement one seems to hold the charge as well as the brand. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a replacement for a charger for my Sony Camera, but it works out that what one has to do is put the battery in upside down to make the charger contacts reach the correct place on the battery.

For the price of this charger, cigarette lighter adapter and spare battery you couldn't even buy one factory Sony battery. This is a decent charger, works well enough and the battery works fine. It is made in China, ships in a plain cardboard box but works very well, more so considering the price. A factory Sony replacement costs three times this complete set costs. I am curious to see how long the battery survives but for the last couple weeks it has served well.
