Everything is of steel the bat part but the curved portion of lower rod is a bit of plastic but of good quality.... Hooks are too of steel but it is a light rack. Not sure of the grade of steel.

This towel rack is just too perfect for my new washroom!!It looks awesome!It's utility rating is super high.. it can hold towels for the family, some clothes for the day and some hangings like loofah, foot scrubber and others..You may fold it upwards, when not in use.Best stainless steel quality.The square look is what I was looking for.Complete value for money!!
