A short fun read. I loved the idea of two long time friends experimenting where they could take their friendship. Ben and Robin are friends and business partners. They are spending news eve together, which is not anything new, when Robin wants to make a 5 count resolution. Her list is normal and basic but Ben's is both shocking and flirty. He is a big time flirt and it makes me wonder why things took so long to go this far between the pair. I do have to say it is in poor taste that past multiple relationships are brought up and laughed over. Does ever hunky man have to have slept with half a city to prove they are man enough to appear hot to a reader? This reader thinks so as I do not need my H to be broke in so well to make me impressed. I found it disappointing how distant and quick Ben leaves with no feelings at all towards the step they took. Is he that insensitive and clueless? I believe that Ben is far more affected by Robin than what we have seen and hope that in the future books we get to see into Ben's head as well as Robins. I am still holding out that there is far more to what I have seen so far as I continue on with book 2 in the Stolen series. Enjoy!

Curious To Cross The Line
Robin Sawyer and Ben Kipling are best friends. They are also co-owner's of a business. They are ringing in the New Year together and decide to write out 5 resolutions on paper and share them with each other. One of Ben's resolutions is to tie up Robin and have his way with her. Robin is surprised. They talk about having sex and Robin is hesitant b/c she doesn't want to risk their friendship. They decide to have sex and make plans. Friday night, Ben arrives at Robin's apartment. Ben ties Robin to her bed and they have incredible sex. The next day, Robin goes for a swim, thinking about her night with Ben. Robin's brother, Mark comes by. He notices the marks on her wrist. Mark is concerned and asks Robin about them. She says it's from sex. Mark is shocked that his sister is kinky. He wants to know who the guy is. She doesn't tell him. Mark waits for Robin in the living room while she gets ready for their dinner. Once ready, Robin walks in the living room and to her surprise, finds Ben sitting there. She is nervous that Mark is going to figure it out. Mark does realize that Ben is the guy that tied his sister up and had sex with her. Mark is heated. Now what? Can't wait to find out. Good read!!

Will read the rest of this story! Need to know what happens!!!
I finished this novella/short story in less than an hours time and I was left wanting to know what was to come from Robin and Ben. While there were errors and the writing style could have been better I still enjoyed the story line. Robin and Ben have been best friends for years and own their own business together but things change when Robin has them list their top five revolutions for 2015. Number three for Ben was to tie Robin up (let's get physical!). "I'm in," she told his phone. "You can fulfil your number three. Let's do it on Friday night so I can get the apartment cleaned up. You bring whatever we need. Call me." While I have never had a close relationship with a male I'm not sure if I would be willing to sleep with him to see how it really is, in fear of damaging that relationship. If you are looking for a quick read that will leave you wanting more, Stolen is just what you could be looking for! Due to the grammatical errors and the chronological writing style through a handful of events I have to give Stolen 3 stars with the chance to improve based on later additions to Robin and Ben's story. No paper crush at the moment, let's wait to see Ben's moves in the second addition. :)

Please remember most of Lucia Jordan's books as well as most of the free kindle books come in "portions" or each book of the series is most likely not a complete book. The amount of pages are listed in the purchase information and members have access to reviews, so the amount of reviews of that are disappointed to the fact the 1st book is not a full book is rather shocking. I do find that these free books have editing issues, some more than others. So just beware. This is the classic best friends and going one step further. There is just enough here to peak your interest and make you wanting more. If you are aware that is what you are purchasing then you will not be disappointed. I find that the best parts of these books are exactly where they need to be. Keep reading, I know I will.

Pretty good
I liked the book, but there were several typos. I do not usually read this type of book, but I decided to try it for something different. I will read the next one as I definitely want to see what happens

Hot and Cold
Lucia Jordan tends to lead you on and then you have to purchase more to finish the story which is frustrating. If I buy a book, I kind of want to buy the whole book and not the first quarter. Some of the characters seem shallow and even though it says there is deep emotion there, that doesn't always come across. I found that a few of the leading men in her books tend to be selfish pricks, leaving a woman hanging when it suits them and then demanding more. It feels almost like playing games and yes you want some suspense and strife between your characters but could we for once not have the pull me in just to push me away crap. Otherwise, the stories are good and the sex is sometimes hot. Just depends on the series. I might read more from her but the breaking books out into sections though probably great as a marketing and sales technique tends to turn me off authors.

Stolen
I was disappointed. Normally when I read books by Lucia Jordan I get warm fuzzy feelings but this just seemed rather sterile & lacked build up or chemistry. Maybe it was intentional given the storyline.

Best Friends!
New Year's Eve resolutions can be so much fun!Ben's New Year's resolution catches Robin but has her attention. As best friends, can it be done? Sleep with your best friend? What about after?A great story, can't wait for the next installation.
