The smoother looks better than what I was expecting. It's high quality acrylic and not some flimsy plastic. It's sharp and really nice to work with. And it's tall enough for smoothing buttercream on double barrel cake. I think I'll get a lot of use out of it.

This 12 inches smoother scraper is great.It is solid, sturdy and looks better than the picture. I used it this past weekend and my cakes have never been smoother.It makes my life so much easier when icing a tall cake

Works as advertised. The last one I had curved at the edges, this one makes it easier to get straight edges.

I bought an acrylic scraper but it was too thin and was bending and I didn’t like it so I was looking for a thicker one and found this one. It’s perfect it’s thick and sturdy and sharp it came nicely packaged I love it

My favorite tool! However, it scratches very easily. Once the edge gets scratch (even the tiniest bit) it will be impossible to get a perfect cake surface! You will have lines all around your cake, and it's way too expensive to be disposable! So you must treat it with"Kid gloves!"

This is a seemingly simple tool for smoothing cakes, but no one else makes it this tall and without a handle that interferes with larger cake boards. This is of good quality and my absolute favorite tool.

There is nothing I dislike about this product! When I say this has cut my frosting time in half, it truly has. I pair this with the Wilton icer tip and was able to get extra sharp edges on my rectangle cake in less than 10 passes. I’m glad I bought this and will likely buy another one just to have on hand.The pictures I’ve included are six, 4.5x13” cakes stacked on top of each other and iced with American buttercream.

This is a nice size frosting smoothing tool that does a very good job once you get use to using one
