Being 100% brutally honest here: The other reviews praising these earbuds for their surprising sound quality aren't lying: They are 100% true. They sound cleaner & crisper than any other earbuds I have EVER tried to date (which is a lot). The base isn't too loud & the treble is perfect. I watch/listen to quiet and loud content constantly throughout my day. I can ear the quietest noises while still getting the full cinematic epic feel on a loud scene in a good movie.This is a rare product. The price is just unbeatable for the precision sound quality you will be receiving. If there is anything I could say to convince you to order these to replace the cruddy earbuds you likely currently own, I would say it in a heartbeat. I ordered two of them: One for my jean pocket & one to put beside my bed. I fall asleep every night with these in my ears & during the day use them constantly for all kinds of intense listening tasks. While they aren't specifically "noise canceling" they block out noise quite well & are more comfortable than ANY other earbuds I have ever tried.I carefully wrap my earbuds after each use & take good care of them. They have shown zero signs of giving out so far (almost 2 weeksof use). Believe the dream, people. These earbuds are just that good.

For the price these are an excellent set of very listenable earbuds. They present a clear, open sound that retains much more of the detail of the original source than you might ordinarily expect from such an inexpensive pair. With three size of seals to choose from, most users will be able to find a good fit which is mandatory for good comfort and good sound.Very little noise is transmitted by the cable, a little more after the channels separate and the 'microphonics' are slightly louder; still the cable is very quiet and this would be a great choice for active users.The cord is thin and fairly cheap looking, ending in a right angle plug into the player which I prefer as it places less strain on the connection inside your unit. The connection to the ear piece seems well designed and near the ear bud it enters a plastic tunnel that should help lengthen the useful life of the unit. Based on my experience and the reviews I've read I expect a reasonably long life from these puppies.The sound of course is far from perfect. They are limited by the in ear design, narrowing the sound stage and by necessity reducing the size of the drivers to a size that it is impossible to accurately reproduce the entire sound spectrum. The dyanamic range of these is limited ... there is no silent background more of a misty fog where the softest sounds become difficult to discern. The loudest sounds, especially in the upper midrange can seem a little harsh at higher levels. But especially with small groups there is separation between instruments in tone and space.These headphones won't reveal subtle nuances in your music. They will allow you to enjoy old friends and new recordings without feeling as though a thick, wet blanket has been tossed over your head.WARNING: PLEASE be aware that listening to ear buds at high levels, or even at moderate levels for extended periods will very effectively destroy your hearing. BE CAREFUL!!!!!

Let me start by saying Apple hit a home run with its AirPods. I never leave the house without them in my pocket. I generally will use one at a time if I'm waiting in line at the store or walking around grocery shopping. The case is small enough you won't notice them and since I switch out using only one battery is never an issue. I generally charge my case once a week. If I do use both AirPods they will last 4 1/2 - 5 hours. Sound quality is much better than stock Airbus. I can leave my phone inside and can walk around my yard without loosing the Bluetooth signal. When I first got them I was amazed how far I could walk away from my phone. Also no matter what room I'm in or if I'm outside walls for the most part will not block the signal. I have never had them fall out or even fell loose. They are so lite you will forget they are in your ears. I can't recommend these any higher. Apple really outshined it's self with a product you expect only Apple can enginer. It's made by Apple so build quality is what you would expect. The only word of warning I have is to make sure the software is up to date. Their is no way to manually update the build number AirPods are suppose to do it automatically, but for AirPods to update they must be plugged into the charger and tethered to your iPhone. The latest firmware really improves their functionality and sound volume. With the latest firmware they connect via Bluetooth much faster and they sound louder. Enough prase Apple really made a pair of wireless headphones I never expected to love so much. It's worth the wait if you buy them from seller!!!

I've only been using these headphones for a few days so I can't speak to longevity yet, but the sound and fit are better than the price would indicate. I went from a pretty sad pair of earbuds that might have come from a iPod I bought... hmmmmm maybe 5 years ago so I don't carry any audiophile credentials. I've been playing with the Comply covers that were included. They do change the sound compared to the silicone pieces and I can't really decide if it's for the better or worse. I think they improve the "feel" of the bass if that's a thing. I have been using these pretty much all day at work and my ears never get fatigued like they would with the apple earbuds. One thing to consider if you care about these things, you really can't hear what's going on around you with these on. I've had people three feet in front of me talking at normal volume and I can't hear a sound from them. With the earbuds, I was able to hear what people were saying so I could decide if it was worth pausing the music to continue the conversation. Just like many other reviewers have said, these are way better than $20 of headphone. I love classical music and these create the "I'm hearing this performance live" affect. So important when you are actually "listening" actively.
