An Indian friend cam to America and gave me a bag of these.. they are authentic and the flavor is different but really good.The only problem they have it's that once you open it you want to finish the bag!!!!

Very very impressive packing .Haldi Ram is the only non 5 star hotel I eat at in New Delhi.SUPER IMPRESSIVE-- Once they did not have Lassi ( buttermilk) because water failed the quality test.It tell U everything about their quality control program. I salute the management.

I'm absolutely addicted to Indian snacks. I'm surprised they never really caught on in the States, but then I remembered that not everybody is into exotic flavors or spice. However, of all the namkeens I've tried, this one in particular is the most "approachable" one, even to my friends, who often turn their noses when I offer them an Indian snack. Hey, I don't blame them: getting a whiff inside the bag is an EXPERIENCE. I think it's the asafoetida that makes them smell... fecal? This khatta meetha is relatively unoffensive, however.Anyway, the overall flavor here is sweet and sour, with very subtle spiciness. Since the pieces are so tiny, you're best off using a spoon - or funneling it into your mouth like a junkie for snacks. A bonus is that due to all the various legumes in this mix, there's quite a bit of protein in here. And even if the prices are crazy inflated online compared to buying at a local grocery, it's still an amazing deal. (As of the time of this review, this is at only $0.28/ounce!)

The first one I bought Nov 2023 was $14.89 for 1 kg (1000g) - really a great deal! This one is only 400g for $9.99. The description still says 1 kg, and I did not notice the image had changed. I'll keep this bag, because it is really good stuff, but I won't order again.

I love this mix. A little spendy but worth it to me. I mostly use it to top my yogurt. SOOOO much tastier than granola.

Tasty, but not the original one I bought in Baltimore MD at their store. That one had much less carbs that's why I purchased them to bring back with me to Atlanta.

This is actually my second review of this product, my first was a 5 star on a package I received at Christmas. This package I just received was totally opposite in so many ways… the crispness was nonexistent-product was mushy, taste was “off” as was the smell-old and musty! Like product had been on shelf for months prior to being shipped. Lacking any reason to drive across town to KOHLS to return-I fed it to the chickens!! But I won’t be re-ordering again-I can buy stale snacks cheaper at discount stores in town….Original review:This stuff is totally addictive! Received a smaller bag for Christmas and it was gone by that evening so I found this on Amazon. My bathroom scales and my jeans sincerely wish I hadn’t!! It’s that good!

Oh My - This product is so delicious and addicting! Satisfies the need for something crunchy to eat, is sweet but not sugary, and has just the right amount of salty flavor. We've shared it with new friends and they had to write it down to order it also. In 2 days, we've finished more than half of a very big bag. We'll be buying this in bulk soon!
