ConvaTecEakin Cohesive Slim Ostomy Barrier Seals, 2 Inch Diameter, Box of 10

The original and still the best Eakin seals but now in a slimmer variety. I prefer the slimmer ones as I was squashing the originals about this thickness anyway. These feel a little grainy and the reason is because they have stoma powder or karaya powder embedded inside which helps them manage moisture from the stoma which has constant mucus leakage. I have tried what I believe to be every other ring on the market and none have had the same amount of stick as these. I’ve been doing ostomy care for almost 2 decades and I’ve been an ostomate for one decade. Currently my insurance does not pay for these and so I pay out of pocket I will always prefer something less expensive but compared with everything else I found these seem to be a reasonable price.

I love the Eakin Cohesive slims. They make every ostomy change so much better. "They are a great product and I highly recommend this product to those of us who need it.

The package had clearly been opened before. The glue seals were broken, a sticker had been removed from the exterior of the box. Worst of all, the manufacture date had been covered up by a sticker claiming a 2022 manufacture date. I called Eakin the manufacturer and asked about the date based on the lot number printed on the actual product. Eakin told me the product was more than 5 years old and was expired. I would not trust this vendor. Seals purchased from reliable vendors work great. Needed some quickly so I ordered through Amazon.

These work great have used them before much better than strips and or paste. Price is great ! Would definitely order again!

Have only had my stoma bag for two weeks--these really help! I put them around my stoma.

I just received this product. It has an expiration date of 1-7-2019 - this is illegal. You can not sell medical device products beyond the expiration date in the US. Food and Drug will fine you or close your business depending on the extend of the issue. I am horrified at receiving this product.
