It is better than the old one It replaced.

Used it twice so far ... works great ... the high RPM precludes any 'pulling' of either nose or ear hair(s) ... easy to handle/direct ... most definitely superior to the product it replaced ... based on my experience with it so far I highly recommend it ... the 'durability' rating is more of an assumption than experience as I've had it for a relatively short while but unless it's somehow defective it should last a good several years which was the case with my previous item.

My doctor recommended this to me. Claimed he has to buy a second one because his kids and wife stole his. I initially balked at the price but finally ordered one. Wow, what a difference. I have had many in the past and was always disappointed. This one does the job. My only issue is it is so powerful that it tickles to use it and it blows air which also tickles so I have to make sure the vent is pointed down. Worth the money!

I've tried a number of nose / ear hair trimmers and this one is the best. One note is that it must be cleaned regularly. Some people describe them as cheap because they don't work after a few weeks but this is because it must be cleaned. The mucus from your nose and the wax from your ears will clog up and the cutters and the electric motor cannot power through that. My technique is, once a week, turn it on and dip JUST the cutters (the silvery part) into a shot glass of isopropyl alcohol for a few seconds. You'll see the gunk wash out of it. This has kept mine clean and running like new for over a year.
