Men's Primal 2 Cardinal Sneaker

I bought these shoes specifically for the roomier toe box, flexibility and minimalist structure. At 66, I am a cyclist and wanted to also be able to walk more. After quite a bit of research, I became aware of how little I knew about my feet and what I have been doing to them in the variety of shoes, sneakers and boots I've been wearing. I have been having issues with hot spots in my cycle shoes, some aches and pains in lower back and legs, as well as discomfort with my toes. Adding walking to my daily activities meant I needed to be more careful about what shoes I was going to wear. Long story short, less is more. Corrective support insoles, constrictive and inflexible construction, and gimmicky heals putting the heal higher than the mid-foot/fore foot are out. More flexible, flat soles, roomier toe box and light weight are in. Allowing the foot to sit and work as it was built to do is the goal for me now. I've also had to look at the biomechanics of walking. These shoes really fit the bill. Very well made and a step towards eventually wearing a more minimal shoe. I am not recommending you do what I have done as the shoes alone are not a quick fix. The shoes would be a 5 star, if not for the fact that they are very pricey.
