This review is my first impressions of this case. Compact to carry with easy to use latches. I found the grid cut foam to be used to make a cut out for my pistol to be inventive and easy to use to make a fit for my pistol not some generic cutout. IMO if you only had one pistol, the grid could be used to make cutouts for 2 or 3 magazines too. Otherwise they could be foam protected on flat foam under the gun foam. From first impressions this will be a large step up from what I am currently using to transport my pistol. Update 7/15/21 After doing the pluck thing to make a cut out for my pistol, I would recommend the manufacturer use a higher density foam for this layer. And some better directions that make it plain the included tool can be used to help cut out the foam. Other than I have a sightly larger cutout than I wanted, the foam works ok. I put the unloaded plastic indicator that came with my Shield Plus into one of the slits so I can find it if needed. Then just lay the spare magazine on the top of the pick and pluck foam and close the case. So far works fine. I think with some care two compact pistols like the Shield Plus could fit in this one case. The extra foam layers supplied help cushion the pistol fine and I store the Shield manual and the case included tool between the middle and bottom foam layers. The slide locks work really easy too. If traveling with the case via plane I would suggest two high quality cable locks be used in the supplied holes in the slide locks. I have no recommendations for locks. IMO this is a good case and should last years of going to the range. Looks a lot more professional than pulling out the cardboard box my Shield Plus came in.

Well made and easy to customize for a perfect fit, even for something like a large vintage revolver. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I actually purchased this case to be used for something other than firearms/pistols. I have plenty other cases for that, but this one would have worked fine if that's what I needed it for. The case arrived quickly and is exactly as described. Please keep the price point in mind. This is a low cost case. It is not designed or advertised to be a gun safe, waterproof or dropped from airplanes and obviously, a lower tier plastic case is not going to keep someone out. With that being said, it's fine for simple transport to and from the range or even inside checked luggage as other reviewers have commented. The case is free from defects and is solid enough. It would certainly survive simple falls and bumps. I actually purchased it to safely transport my Nintendo Switch because it has a larger grip on it that will not fit in other proprietary cases without removing the grips and that was obviously a pain. The pick and pluck foam worked fine and the case serves my purposes without any issues. I was able to customize the case to hold both my Switch and accessories. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I will definitely consider this brand if I have a future need for a low cost pistol case.

I ordered this Glock case off Amazon and wasn’t expecting much, but honestly, I’m impressed. The quality is solid — feels durable and has a clean, tactical look. The color I picked came out even better in person. Inside, the cushioning is legit — thick, well-glued, and holds everything snug. Nice quality and inexpensive case to store my pistol which the original case was broken and not working properly and completely unsecure (for the last 20 years). This case worked perfect and easily customized to fit my 1911 style firearm and do not have to worry about it falling out anymore. Would highly suggest this case if you don't have a case or the one you have is in poor condition. It sits in a large safe so I was not concerned about the physical security of the case itself so it was not a factor in buying this particular case. No matter what you buy the only way to ensure it stays put is put it in a heavy duty safe that can't be moved otherwise you could easily cut through it to access the firearm. For travel I would assume it would be fine with the proper locking mechanism applied.
