Nature2 W20171 Express Mineral Pool Sanitizer, Above Ground

I have struggled with algae off and on over the years, meanwhile my next door neighbor has sparkling blue water. After spending a lot of money and failing, I finally asked her the secret. She told me about Nature Express. She also told me they buy a new cartridge for it every other year, and use less chlorine because of this item. It’s working GREAT for us so far, and I’m using minimal chlorine.Our only negative turned out to be installation. That’s not because of the product, but because we have an above ground pool with a sand filter that has a lot of flexible tubing. This item is made to install with pvc piping...so my husband had a bit of a time trying to modify our tubing/piping, but in the end, it’s installed and doing its job! Just make sure if you don’t have pvc piping with your sand filter currently, that you’re prepared to get creative and make some trips to hardware store.UPDATE: June 2021- This is our second summer with the original cartridge, and like my neighbor had previously explained to me, it is still working!! I was a little skeptical that it would last for 2 summer seasons, but we are 2 months into the second season of use, and it’s still doing its job! That definitely helps to justify to cost, along with using less chemicals to maintain blue water.

No Algae problems what do ever since purchasing this. Also cut chlorine usage in half.

Absolutely the best investment!! I'm not the best at making sure I shock my pool or have chlorine in it but this mineral filter is like a magical charm!! My pool was always crystal clear even with solar cover on and hot days. I only really shocked my pool once a month instead of every other week. I have a 27 ft pool, 48 in deep.

Not sure what the "warmth" means in the ratings but it was easy to hook up and came with everything needed. Watch out the filter has a Channel that you have to line up when tightening and must be snug to avoid leaks!

It seems to work. My only problem is phosphorus keeps climbing. I didn't have that problem before I installed this.

don't helping with algae also have new probleme with alkaline and stabilizer going up down chlorine to 0% ,not happy with that still have same algae problems without it's, save money dont buy. sorry for sellers meybe they don trying on his own pool.

This is a great product. I just bought a new home with a pool and I had to get this. My dad's had a pool for 30 years and he just switched to this about 7 years ago. He told me it's been the best 7 years with the pool. You install this and your done! No putting chemicals in it daily. Saves you a lot of time. The only thing my dad does shock it once a week. The pools never been cleaner! Great product!
