My kids love playing with these outside. They love that they can get creative with them and add flowers and sticks to create little animal figures. They are not super lightweight but it’s not hard to play with them.

Really pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Fun for child and adult.

I am so grateful to previous reviewers who mentioned that these toys are mot solid wood. I was prepared to receive them and work on covering the seams. I used wood filler and non-toxic water based paint I had furniture painting project.Hear me out, if you’re thinking about doing something similar: sanding the filler takes more time than I expected and enjoyed. Highly recommend putting less filler than I did.Results are okay and work well enough for my arts.

It is entertaining to my toddler. We also use herbs which he likes to smell to decorate.

A little expensive for what it actually is, but was a huge hit when I gave it to my nieces this spring! They really adored it so it ended up being worth the money :-)

These locomo animals are minimalistic but well-designed. I got a set for my nephew and he couldn't wait to decorate them with various objects. we live in the city, so we don't have the same diversity of nature, but it good fun nonetheless. We also got a chance to talk about different kinds of local trees and flowers. As a nature nerd, i loved it.
