I've used this for many years on my aquarium related filters. I use a number of classic eheim canisters on a few of my aquariums so I have to cut it round at the proper size, and that does require some attention, but it is perfect for placement between the layers of different filter-material that I layer in the canister. It can be used over and over again when cleaning the filter by simple placing under the force of water from the faucet so it is economical.

Use this for my salt water tank filters and love it cheaper than buying throw away filters every month
