110 volt. piece of crap. I threw it in the garbage. I will never buy from this dealer again.

The opener is made in China and does not state amp. or watts. These will both vary according to the load of the motor. Watts could be determined by using a amp. meter and convert the amps to watts under no load and loaded conditions.

Q: I am so frustrated with this product!!! I've tried and tried & all I get is pieces of paper. does anyone know how to explain this product to me?

I had the same problem. It shredded the paper around the can into whatever I was opening, that is when it actually opened a can. Amazon was good enough to replace it and I ended up ordering a Hamilton Beach which works exactly as it is suppose to. They should really take the Proctor Silex 75217F off the market. It doesn't work!!
