SAKURAPen-Touch Paint Marker 0.7 mm Extra fine metallic Gold color, Pack of 4

I saw so many mixed reviews, that I was concerned I was wasting my money. This worked exactly as I wanted it to work. I'm so glad I took the chance and ordered it. I simply followed the directions on the pen. I'm also glad I ordered the extra fine 0.7 mm nib because anything else would have been way too big.

These Sakura Pen-Touch Paint Markers leave incredible, opaque gold lines on your paper, your canvas, and your black backgrounds. I love these pens especially for the thin, fine markings I can get. It's especially beautiful on black. However, once they start running dry, they do start to stutter and skip. They are best when the paint is flowing freely. Careful, too, when you are first getting the paint to flow, because it will come out in huge blotches until you start drawing/writing. It will eventually come out in nice, even lines. But these are the best gold writing instruments that I've found. Indelible, beautiful.

These paint markers are terrific!! The color is absolutely gold—not too yellow or too bronze. The tip is very fine, extremely effective for detail. I suggest that the company manufacture a complete spectrum of colors with these qualities!!

These write beautifully on a number of surfaces. I especially like the fine-point when writing on smaller surfaces as the letters don’t bleed together. Perfect for writing on glass, wood, acrylic, paper, etc.

These are hard to find in art & craft stores so I was happy to find them at Amazon. It stays gold and shiny even years after I have used it.

After using 8 or 10 of these pens I would advise against buying. When they work they make beautiful lines. However, they don't last. Usually, they run out of ink quickly or the ink comes out around the point in blobs. I have tried various solutions including making sure the lid was on tightly after use (even taping the lid shut) & lying the pen horizontal between uses. These measures did not help. It's unfortunate because they do make a beautiful line during the very short time they function. I cannot recommend this litem.
