Duck Covers Soteria Water-Resistant 79 Inch Patio Sofa Cover, Patio Bench Cover

I've tried many covers and these have lasted the longest. I purchased this model of Duck Cover for my chairs, couch, cushions, pillows, and coffee table in September 2021. A few weeks ago the fabric was beginning to show signs of deterioration so I knew I'd probably need to replace them soon so I was hoping to stretch it out to September (3 years exactly). I'd say that's a pretty good track record considering they are on the patio with a southern exposure to the hot Texas sun! I know they would have made it had it not been for hurricane Beryl pummeling them mercilessly for several hours. Even after that, much of the covers were very much intact with the exceptoin of a few holes from debris, as well as the wind causing tears at the corners of the coffee table. FYI, my patio furniture including the cushions and pillows still look just as good as the day we bought them.

I have hesitated to buy covers for my screened porch furniture, but we get the worst yellow/green heavy pollen in the spring, that I finally gave in and bought covers. The screening of the porch does not keep us from seeing a visible coating of this pollen on all of the furniture. These will not be used outside in the elements, so I am going to assume we will have them a long time. These fit perfectly and are very nice looking. I probably could have gotten away with a much lighter cover, but the colors and design of these look great with our decor both on the porch and from inside the house.

This product claims to be UV resistant. It is NOT. Within 1 year it will start fading, by 3rd year, you'll be patching cracks and pin holes, on all sides facing the sun. This is my experience based on 6 different cover types/sizes, which were only exposed to outdoor conditions for 7 months/year (stored indoors in winter). Now I have to replace all 6, so I'm trying a different brand, ULTCOVER.

Heavy duty waterproof canvas. Easy clip on tie-down straps. The handle in back helps in lifting cover off as well as orienting the cover when placing the cover back on furniture. In the past, these types of covers only last a couple of years when left outside in both summer and winter. Time will tell if this product will last any longer.

These work well for about a year. Haven't been able to find anything better yet. After a years use in the sun, they tend to rip.

Sturdy, well made, waterproof, keep their shape, easy to put on and take off. Nice looking! Extremely happy with these!!

Heavy duty fabric but easy to handle. Replaced my old cover which had cracked and become brittle with this new cover. Beautiful on my 3 cushion wicker couch. Straps work great around the legs. Thanks Duck and Amazon!!

Not sure “warmth” is a factor here but I do like the water resistance. Dimensions are accurate. Wish there was a product that would keep them from drying out and tearing after a couple years. Seems I have to replace them often as the sun breaks down the material and they tear in stress points.

Seems like they use quality material and good manufacturing. However, they will bake in the hot sun and can tear easily. You will have to handle them very carefully.

Love them, best money I have spent in awhile.

Update: The cover seems to be tearing on its own. Not sure if wind related but I always clip w the holders but where it hits the arm and front metal of the sofa it has torn and it's not even a year old. Now it leaks through the top, seeping onto my cushions. Which is a recipe for mold/mildew in my expensive patio furniture. I should not have to re-waterproof it every year. Poor quality. Not durable at all. Seems good so far but next summer I’ll put the sofa cushions on under (late season purchase) . Seems to be made of fairly durable fabric. But it’s not too heavy to put on yourself. It does droop in the middle and collect water without the cushions underneath so I’ll see what effect a Canadian winter has on it and report back. Hoping it’s still in good shape by next summer.
